i'm just so out of it today . really can't concentrate on my hw . soo here i am , trying to do something constructive . okae well , not by blogging ... but i AM doing research on google . it's called multi-tasking .

soo many assesments next week and the week after , and yet i'm not stressing . true , i hardly stress cos i don't see a point to stressing . but i do stress . and i think i will if i don't manage my time properly . time management - ha . something i don't have ! anyhow , it's worth a try .

my plan for term 2 :
the moment i come home from school , i will go take a shower and then go straight to my room to do hw and some study . even though it's only the 2nd day of term 2 , i've managed to do that so far . so that's good .

i'm just slightly annoyed and frustrated cos i can't seem to get my body clock back to normal . i can't even sleep before 12 anymore . -sigh- it's most irritating , especially since i've been trying to go to bed earlier . most times i just end up lying on my bed for ages before falling asleep - by which time it is already past 12 . *grr* haven't been getting much sleep lately and so i'm tired all the time . -double sigh-

still not used to being up and about before 10am . lol . these past 2 days of school haven't been that exhausting or anything , it's just that i'm still adjusting to the whole going-to-school-and-doing-work thing . in other words , just not used to thinking so much . o my , i sound like a total airhead don't i ? well . at least now i know how jessica simpson feels .

speaking of which , i'm totally addicted to that show - 'newlyweds' . hahah . i find it so bloody hiliarious that she's so stupid . but as my mum would say , "at least god is fair . he gave her a nice voice since he didn't give her any brains." but i feel quite sorry for her cos she's always the butt of jokes ... people always mocking and laughing at her and stuff . but one can't help it i suppose . stupid people are ALWAYS funny to make fun of .

dinner's almost ready so i'm going to go . really not hungry though . ate so much just now when i got home from school - an attempt at keeping myself awake , i might add .

i got a new phone !!
i'm now the proud owner of a nokia 7250 . ha . yes , i quite like it actually . i did want the samsung ... but it's okae . i'm just happy i have a new phone . *smiles* it's got a camera too ! so now i can take pictures ANYWHERE . hmm . not so sure if that's a good thing , seeing as how i've become so obsessed with taking pictures . lol . ah well ...

anyhoo , i should go do some work now . school starts tmr and i REALLY have to do some work . soo goodbye all ...

today was a popiah-filled day ! so it was a very good day . lol . *grin* home-made popiah and brownie cake . mmm ... compliments to the chef/s ! there's still quite a bit of leftovers , so we had the same for dinner - popiah , chicken wings ... and some brownie for desert .

well . the holidays are coming to an end . already . *nooo* and i haven't really touched my hw .... so that's really quite terrible . lol . should probably get down to actually doing something school-related before wedesday yeah ? that would be a very good idea .

going for a picnic tmr afternoon/evening ! huzzah (yes okae , stupid word . but i like using it .) ! should be quite fun ... managed to organise stuff with grace in a short time . hahah . the plan is to have kfc for dinner . MORE fried chicken ... mmm ... so hopefully the ppl who said they can come (i.e. grace , stef , louie and aza ) will come, if not there won't be much of a picnic . tina if you read this , you'd better come alrite ??!! please call me tmr and say , "yes lynda , i'm coming !" . if not who else will be there to take stupid pictures with me ?!

hmm . that is all i have to say right now . really haven't been doing anything productive these past few days ... but hey , what's new ? so i'm just going to go now so that whoever's reading this won't be scrolling down wondering when i'm going to stop typing . or maybe i should just irritate you by continuing to type ... hahahah . alrite fine . i'll leave you alone now .

ah . i missed 'passions' today ... o calamity ! i'm such a housewife .

it's 8.44am and i'm awake .
this feels strange ... i'm never awake this early during the holidays . but today was an exception cos we went to the airport to welcome tina , ursie and heidy home . lol . grace even made signs for them .

woke up at about ... 5 am ? hmm . and it wasn't even bright yet ! total darkness . and it was freezing too ! still quite cold out there actually .

but now i can't sleep , cos we had some breakfast at macdonald's . hotcakes . mmm ... finally ! *grin* been craving pancakes recently . so now , yet another one of my cravings has been satisfied . huzzaahhh !! (that was specially for you grace) . but breakfast was good . it was very much 7.30am insanity and we now have a new sik club member (hear that tina ? hehe . aza's joined us .) .

anyhooo , i'm off ... going to urm . play some silly online games or something .

*oo* i feel quite light headed ...

some ppl in my family are just so ... irritating . don't get me wrong , i love my family a lot . but my dad just really gets on nerves at times . i don't understand why he gets so bloody paranoid about anything and everything . e.g. lynne and i are running to the computer cos we just like annoying each other , and then he says : "eh eh . careful ah . someone can get hurt." or when lynne was admiring marie's earrings , she just touches them and he said to be careful cos marie might move and then get her ear ripped off cos lynne was 'holding on to them' . like wtf ?! o yes . have i mentioned that he also has extremely BAD LUCK with computers or technology in general ? geez . and then he complains to whoever is sitting in the same room as him , that's usually either me or nette .

ah yes . and who else irritates me ... my younger sister (lynne) . i suppose that's normal , cos i probably irritate nette too . but i dunno , she (lynne) just gets on my nerves so often . but sometimes it's just me being bitchy and unreasonable , so it's not totally her fault . it just annoys me when she acts all smart and everything . okae yes , she's smart for a girl her age but still .

i suppose i find them both annoying cos they're both so similar -in temper and personality . but at least she doesn't get paranoid and worried about everything . so that's good . i can still trust and confide in her .

it's really quite terrible how i don't miss my dad much when he goes away . i really don't know why , but i don't miss him anymore . maybe i've become so used to him going away so often ? but i just like it when he's not around , cos then it's a house full of girls and we can do whatever we want . another reason i prefer him not being around is that then there will be less nagging . yes , my dad nags - quite a lot actually .

i still my love my family - whether they're annoying or not . i don't know what i'd do without them .

well tina will be back tmr morning ! arriving at 6 something in the morning . haha . yes , we're going to the airport ... i'm sure i can wake up . can't wait to see her !

an Aboriginal woman puts a curse on the PM . hmm . when i first read that news , i just burst out laughing . i have no idea why . i guess it's not funny , but it's like that "joke" - there was a girl who had no arms and legs and she fell off a swing . i s'ppose then the question is , then how did she get on the swing in the first place ? but that's besides the point . ah yes , and how about when armless ashton kutcher threw himself off the wheelchair in 'the butterfly effect' . i dunno why , but the entire cinema just burst out laughing .

okae maybe you should just ignore me . i'm starting to ramble and not make sense . it's been an eventful night and i'm not gonna say anything about it until i've told a few ppl - i.e. nette , grace and my other good friends .

mexican dinner - mmm mmm ... ...
went to this restaurant called Zapatas in freo for sarem's surprise birthday dinner . didn't really have much money but thank goodness it was half price nacho and taco (somehow that looks like it's spelt wrong) night ! had a beef taco and shared some beef and chilli nachos with grace ... so now i'm really full . lol . to top it all off , there was chocolate cake . nice chocolate cake too - made by chantelle . so it was all in all a really great dinner !

was esp fun since we surprised sarem by standing on the balcony of the restaurant with these mexican hats on . hahah . the waitresses were all really friendly too , so we'll definitely go back there some time soon . *grin* but only on either monday or tuesday , cos that's when the nachos and tacos are half price . lol .

well that was the most eventful thing that happened today .
-sigh- *nooo* my life can't get boring ! i actually tried to get my work started today , but i failed . didn't even get started . but i do have my applic (math) books on my table , i suppose that's a start .

anyhoo i'm EXTREMELY full . i think all those nachos are starting to expand in my stomach . ugh . btw , does anyone know how to put pictures up ?? cos i wanna put pictures up on my blog !

ahh yes . home sweet home after an extremely successful movie marathon at grace's place .
movies we watched :
1) the pianist - good movie and adrien brody's in it ! *oo ah* it was kind of sad though , cos of the war and all .
2) ali g in da house - sooo darn silly lol .
3) 25th hour - mediocre . edward norton was in it . i like him . he's cool .
4) ju on 2 - grace's bro d/l it .. but i've seen it already so i managed to sit through it and not get freaked out .
5) rocky horror picture show - even sillier movie ... "let's do the time warp again ..."
6) dirty dancing - pretty cool movie . very cheesy - just the way we like it . *grin
7) interview with a vampire - i quite liked it , although i still don't like tom cruise and kirsten dunst .

soo yes . all in all , very enjoyable . only had a few hrs worth of sleep and we even woke up earlier than we were supposed to ... grr . but o well . went off to freo (yes finally ! we've been there !) and then got bored after about 2 hrs so we decided to head to the city ... ended up watching 'win a date with tad hamilton' . my advice : only watch it if you're IN a sappy mood , or if you're into the whole romantic-cheesy-comedy thing . if not , don't . lol .

ah yes , grace and i also spent a large portin of today taking all these stupid pictures - mainly cos we were severely bored and deprived of sleep . i'll upload the pictures soon ... something's wrong with the digi cam . can't seem to upload the pictures at the moment ... i don't know why .

hahaa . attempt to burn a cd : failed . miserably . realplayer's just being a dick and not co operating (yees , excuses lynda ) !
anyway , i'm just going to go now . i think i've rambled enough already .

irrestible, sexy , the king of cool ...
just got back from michael buble's concert ! it was BRILLIANT ! *grin* really worth the $87.80 (and even more!) . yes , and the band was good too ! didn't bring the camera to take pictures during the concert , but i took some after ... when i got home . lol . with the program and the ticket stub (hur hur . yes , i'm an idiot .) . but i'm just sooooo glad that i went to see him live . ah yes , and he's really silly too . hehe . funny guy . him and his band . plus , one of the trumpet players (Bryan Lipps) is pretttyyyy cute and he's quite a good trumpeter too ! mmm mmm . it's just something about trumpet players , isn't it ? lol . (stop laughing at me , all of you .)

after that adit and i went to oriel for some choc. cake and coffee . so that was yummy too . and now , i feel absolutely content with my day .

i'm happy girl : )
just got back from gelare with grace ... go half-price tuesdays ! after that we were still kind of hungry so we headed to jesters for some pie . mmm . haven't actually had a jesters pie in ages so it was all good .

then we started walking to garbo , and we kept walking past these weirdos (i.e. alf curlewis-es . it's okae . private joke.) ... i don't understand why every time grace and i go out we seem to meet these odd people . they don't actually talk to us but when we walk past them , they just mutter incoherently to themselves .

ah yes , while waiting for the bus at the bus station , grace and i thought we'd just kill some time by taking pictures with my digi cam . but *gasp* , did you know that it's illegal and that one can get a hefty fine by doing that ?? well if you didn't , shame on you . and yes , i'm serious . we were happily taking pictures and then this police dude comes up to us and tells us that ever since september 11 , the government has prohibited the taking of any pictures on government property . why you ask ? well you see before the attacks happened , ppl kept going into the twin towers to take pictures . so there you go .

i'm just wondering , has the world become that paranoid ? i mean it was quite obvious that grace and i were only taking pictures of ourselves , and even if we weren't , we're not going to use the pictures as an elaborate plan to bomb the garden city bus station with explosives strapped to our ankles .

anyhoo , it's michael buble tonight !! i'm so excited !! : ) i'm sure it'll be a great concert .

what a productive day ...
oo today was a good day !

let's see , the day started off really early at about 9 am . left the house to meet grace on the bus so we could make our way to the city . when we got there it was really early and i was quite surprised that the shops were open already ... so anyway , we went to check movie times for 'once upon a time in mexico' cos grace hadn't seen it yet . ah yes , and since the movie wasn't till 1230, we had plenty of time to kill . sooo we just walked round shops and then ended up in northbridge so we could have some brunch ! after our yummy jap brunch , we just sat around and talked ... until 1200. we also promised ourselves that we wouldn't spend money on any other food cos we needed it to spend on clothes and all . : )

anywayy ... the movie was great eh grace ? lol . the girl kept controlling her squeals of excitement/happiness every time johnny did something cool . was quite funny . also had fun making fun of enrique and his pout ... my gawd , i've never seen a non-taiwanese man pout so much to TRY to look sexy before !

so after the movie was over , we went off to harbour town for some serious shopping !! *yay* and boy , did we shop . well me actually . i'm soo happy that i actually bought stuff today - for nette and myself . managed to get ALL the stuff on the list she gave me and some other stuff for myself : ) 3 tops in total . and so now even though i'm broke (once again), i'm happy *smiles* . why ? cos i have new clothes !!

we were extremely efficient in our shopping today . we also managed to complete all our errands in about 2 hrs or so ? so proud of us ! and on top of that , we also made it back in time to watch the 2nd movie - 'big fish' ! go us ! lol .

so now i'm home . pretty early for a saturday night . haha . for once . and now my foot really hurts . i think i might have pulled a muscle or something while jumping off the swing last night (at the park) . -sigh-

and that was my day ! : ) i liked today . today was a good day .

okk so i was meant to go for stations this morning , but i just couldn't wake up at 8 something . hmm . so i slept ... until about 12.30pm . felt really really nice cos i haven't actually slept in till that late for a long time !

went to church for the 3pm mass and veneration of the cross, but i just felt really really bored . the choir wasn't as bad as usual , but the songs they sang were probably why it was kind of boring . especially when they got to the song - 'were you there' . ohhhhh my ... i just really can't stand that song . lol . *o ... sometimes it causes me to tremble , tremble, tremble . were you there when they crucified my lord...*

so yes. that was my day so far ... ! going off the airport later on tonight to send all those ppl going off to japan for exchange - especially my dear dear tina : ) going to miss her lots !

*p.s. please pray for mr quah you guys . apparently his condition isn't getting any better ... so please pray for him and his family alrite ?

the day has finally arrived , and now it's over . but i did enjoy myself today and our plan to watch the movie and all after school worked out : )

ah yes , and today was a chocolatey day too . everyone was giving each other chocolates since it's easter on sunday and everything . so everything was good today : ) i also owe it to the great company - tina, grace , jo, stef, marsia, heidy, aza, louie and his sister kylie (? not too sure how you spell her name.) .

so all in all , it was a good day . the only disappointment was that i didn't get to have my ice kachang ! *grr*

anyway , i really have nothing else interesting to say . hmm . not that the stuff above was interesting .
excuse me while i go relieve my eyes - the contacts are starting to stick to them ...

well crystal just told me that someone else told her that mr quah's in intensive care now ... and that's he's been there for quite some time . hmm . was really shocked when i heard that . hope he's okae , i mean even though he used to terrorise us and all . but i think he's probably one of the very few teachers in sac who has left a legacy . lol .

anyway, the news just got me and crystal reminiscing about about our pe lessons and stuff . e.g. mr quah teaching us how to run "properly", with our arms parallel or whatever . now that i think about it all , it's actually quite funny . hmm well . just hope mr quah's okae , wonder what happened to him ...

happiness !! at last !!
no more assesments this week ... my last test for the term was today . ahh . : ) feeling really happy and relaxed now , even though i still have what seems like a ton of hw to do . but o well . lol .

really can't wait till thursday ... we have it all planned out already . hahaha . but i'm most excited about saturday's movie-cum-shopping outing ! *big grin* and no tina , it's not in celebration of you leaving for japan . cos i mean it would be lovely if you could join us , but you can't . so aww ... nvm , you can go to japan and buy us some cool jap stuff . : )

mmm mmm . just satisfied my chocolate ice cream craving by having a double chocolate drumstick . totally yummy and now i'm happy . lol . so gonna put on more weight at this rate ... really not good . let's see .. i've had macdonald's for like 2 days in a row now (my usual: 3 piece nugget happy meal !) and i just had that double chocolate ice cream . hmm well yeah .

4 more days of school !! i can't wait !! *grin* can't wait till saturday esp . cos we're going to watch movies and go shopping . ah bliss , pure bliss . BUT i must remember to start my to-do list so that i remember to do my hw . it's supposed to be grace's job to help me try to keep on-task . lol . (good luck grace ... you'll need it !)

anyhoooo , gonna go now . really have nothing to blog about . hmm . ah yes, but i will say one thing though - i'm happy again . everything seems to be going good right now . yay .

tired . today was a really weird day, cos it seemed like an extremely long one and yet it didn't . hmm . i think i just need to sleep more ... waking up this morning was such a chore and it didn't help that it was freezing ! hate getting up on cold mornings cos i just want to stay in my nice warm bed .

well i eventually got out of bed and then off to school ... had interhouse cross-country today and i didn't do too badly ! got 45th place - considering that i've only been to ONE training session and that i haven't run in a really really long time . so i'm quite proud of myself, cos it's a huge improvement from last year's place of like 80 something. but it was fun on the whole cos i've never seen our homeroom so 'together' before ... huddled together cheering and all . quite quite cool : )

then came recess . ah, sweet recess . my other favourite time of the school day (i also like lunch and going-home time) . decided to treat myself to a chocolate muffin so i borrowed some (more) money from grace ... but it was worth it though , the muffin satisfied my craving .

the rest of the day seemed to whizz (or zip .. haha.) past ! but the lessons itself felt like forever even though they were meant to be shorter . i think that was mainly cos i was trying extremely hard to stay awake ... especially during RE . and i wish amy would stop singing that bloody aladdin song - *a whole new world* . but it's funny when she sings it , cos mrs sawiris would just say, "o that's lovely amy ..." hahahah .

well . one more week of lent and i think that i haven't been keeping my lenten promise . okae maybe the hw part of it , cos i have made a conscious effort to do my hw ... but the being-nice-to-people part . ha . that seems pretty non-existent .

anyway , i'm off ... got that silly econs report to finish ! cos it's due tmr and i want to finish it as early as possible please .
