post-exam madness

last night was, umm, exciting (in the beginning) but kind of shitty towards the end. lol. as Yas would say - too many, too many.
thanks to whoever was there (i.e. stoo, audrey, grace, yas and jo). it was a gross job but you were there anyway! so thank you :)

anyhooo, my tummy's starting to feel better at last. no more churning.
hmm, we leave for a.s.i.a camp tmr! must remember to pack.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarghhh.
i am annoyed.

hello, holidays!

a big HIP HIP HOO! now that the exams are over :)
went and bought myself $1.80 worth of celebratory candy from the chemist, since i'd been craving some of that cheap candy for a while. 12 strips of sour ribbon goodness. mmmm...

anyhoooo, arrived home to what was perhaps the oddest sight: lynne dressed in only a bathrobe playing the saxo-ma-phone. and when i asked her why, she says, "i don't know ... i was packing for music camp and then decided to play my saxophone". oooook ... always knew there was something strange about that child...

eeeks! a cricket just crawled out from under the keyboard. hmm, that reminds me of a dream i had about a cricket that was in the dishwasher. i think i killed it by drowning it in the sink or something. although i don't know how i got it into the sink, cos i'm not one to pick crickets up (be they alive or dead).

ookk, off to play some guilt-free scrabble. yay for being able to do stuff without feeling guilty for not studying!

today was a bad day.
grrrrr.

anyhoo, funny thing that happened today:
yas and i were walking from northbridge to the bus station, and we were laughing like retards (i.e. ngiek ngiek ngiek). riight at this moment, this angmoh guy driving a beige car pulls up by the road and his number plate reads NIEK. heh. okk, well we thought it was funny.

on the up side, i got myself nail polish today - it's copper! and i like it.

hmm other than that, everything seemed to not go my way
- forgot i had a driving lesson this morning. so i had to rush out of the house (unshowered), and to top it all off, my lesson was terrible.
- got home and had to get ready asap cos i was supposed to meet tina and grace in the city for lunch.
- because of the above, i left the house feeling like crap
i.e. horrible hair, unmoisturised, cracking lips... etc.
- missed the bus by a few mins. very annoyed.
- ordered taro bubble tea, that DIDN'T taste like fucking taro. geez. worst bubble tea ever, almost as bad as non-peach tea.
- tis that time of the month and i had a spot on my jeans! arghhhh. that made me wonder how long the spot had been there. *shakes fist in anger*
- didn't get any study done this afternoon cos i wasn't in the mood for anything but complaining.

okk.
well fish n chips dinner is home.
shall go eat now even though i'm not really hungry. pfft.

dinner time at the loo household is always interesting, and this evening we have learnt that:

(1) primary school kids read strange books like 'the bridge to terabithia'
where the bridge is actually a rope, and terabithia is a special place made up by a boy and a girl. special place eh... *wink* wink* *nudge* *nudge* ohh yes, when they've crossed the water by swinging on a rope, they have to go through a forest. (this is where nette says something like, "sooo they have to cross a forest to her special place??" and we all laugh uncontrollably while mother sits there thinking we've gone mad cos she didn't hear what nette said)
reallyy makes us wonder what they're teaching kids in school these days...

(2) goats chew cud and cows bleat

anyhoo.
did some study today, kinda. more than someone i know anyway... ("i'm so le tired.." -whinge-
-falls asleep on table again- )
ate lots of junk as usual ... sour skittles, pringles (but only sour cream & onion), guylian chocolates... mmm.

okk that is all for now.
may you hear many cows bleating, goodniight!

the big four-one

ohh how could i forget, HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOHNNY !!
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

so i ended up going to uni to study, well tried to at least. ended up being distracting - by reading books on costumes and masks; staring at the book shelf; and writing nonsensical stories. haha. i'm sorry. i'm sure you would've done more work if i wasn't being a bored nuisance.

ok. i go now :)
i think 2 posts for the day is quite enough, don't you?

|

damned weather!
i think it's mocking me ... raining quite heavily and yet the sun is shining brightly.

we're supposed to be having birthday breakfast for johnny's birthday!
grrr.
and i am out of bed really early.
the thought of crawling back into bed and being a slater is extremely inviting, although this is the first time i'm actually up early enough to watch Passions. oooh ...

msn is screwing up. AGAIN.
signed in and out many times and my contact list still remains wiped out. AGAIN.
bahh. stupid. -insert appropriate angry emoticon here-

and the weather's all wet and ... stuff. don't really like being out in the rain but when one wants to get out of the house, one must.
signs everywhere that say SALE! but i managed to resist the temptation to buy anything. also cos i could hear grace's disapproving voice in my head. hahah.

anyhoo gonna see if msn works now.
oh and, i wonder if it's possible to eat too much chicken ...

a case of too much information

so here i am playing scrabble, minding my own business, when my opponent starts talking to me:

napoleon: my daughter is 17 and in her last year of high school
napoleon: i'm a widower
napoleon: wife died in car crash 5 yrs ago
napoleon: my daughter was only 12 then
napoleon: she took it hard
napoleon: she became rebellious
napoleon: i had to put her on the pill at 13
napoleon: she's a bit wild

he then asks me where i'm from and goes on to say...

napoleon: i've always wanted to go to australia
napoleon: see if all the women there were like elle macpherson and kylie minoque
napoleon: lol
napoleon: all those we hear about on this side of the planet are tall and tanned and gorgeous
napoleon: every woman has something to offer
napoleon: some of the best lovers i've had were women who considered themselves ordinary
napoleon: but had a lot of passion on the inside
napoleon: and were generous and kind

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
so anyhooo!
today was ursie's (sweet) 17th, as the indos like to call it - HAPPY BIRTHDAY URSIE !!
dinner was at HanaBbq and was pretty good :) once again a night filled with silly photos and updating.

then we were reminded of the song that grace and i made up for tina for HER 17th birthday a few years ago : *tina and her candles, tina and her candles*
hahah. i just realised i said 'a few years ago'. i bet that makes you feel old doesn't it, tina? there there, you're only at the bottom of the hill and will start climbing it soon.

okk well photos will be up as soon as tina's internet is working. i shall steal them off her, again. thank you for letting me steal them off you, and even if you don't, oh well - i'll take them anyway. muahah.

it has been an extremely pleasant weekend (with pleasant company!), and now it's time to start some intense study for the exams. it has just occurred to me that the 13th of june is approaching oh-so-quickly, and it is nearly time to hit the panic button.
all i need now is lots of motivation please.

aaaanyway, not really in the mood to do anything productive at the moment. so i shall sit here and pretend.

Friday, June 03, 2005

i think cheryl has forgotten that my driving lesson is at 9am instead of 10. dammit, now i am up early for nothing. GRRR.

shall wait till 10 and if she doesn't appear then i'm just going back to bed. after alll, the weather is great for curling up into a ball and sleeping. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh. okk, now i hope she doesn't turn up.

lalala.
my feet have been bitten my mosquitoes again, and this time it's in weird patterns.

early morning embarrassment:
met a friend on the way to uni, and so we were having a conversation as we were walking. it was a combination of stupidity and sleepyness that led me to walk straight into one of those barrier/pole things (which are conveniently placed at entrances to the underpass). oh yes, and i also had to draw attention to myself by saying "ahhh!" very loudly. so naturally, i got funny stares and heard some sniggering. it was nice of anthony (the friend i met) to pretend that nothing happened though. hahah.

while we're on the topic of buses, i realise that i don't really like meeting acquaintances on buses - for the simple reason that one must make an effort to have a conversation with said acquaintance. i say make an effort, because there will always be awkward silences to fill and so on. gahhh, what a pain. lol. and it had to happen to me twice today too!

other than that, today was a nice day :)

i just realised that tomorrow is my last day of uni! wooohooo. apart from the fact that i have 2 assesments, i can't wait. hmm. i want to go for celebratory burger and/or ice cream eating. *stares at a certain someone*

huzzahh, i have finished my chinese speeech and hopefully i'll remember to speak slowly so that it will seem longer. haha.

alrite well, till tomorrow then!
