i think this must've been one of the most eventful weekends i've had... in a long time.

friday:
went to watch eric's hockey game after school.
adrian came to pick us [me, grace, tina] from my house at 4.20pm so we all had to get changed really quickly once we got home. the hockey game was quite ermm.. boring ? well it would've been more exciting if Melville [eric's team] scored at least one goal. the final score was 11-0. Hale won. obviously. -sigh- quite sad. anyway, the hockey was played in Hale aka manrose's school. he walked over from the boarding house and talked to me for a while. oo! we saw mars too! it was just an orange speck in the sky, looked alot like a star. after about an hour or so, the hockey game ended [all this went on during the hockey match...] and we were all hungry. so adrian suggested we go to the city for dinner. so off we went, all 9 of us. took the scenic route to the city. lol. spent about 45 minutes driving before we actually reached the city. i think everyone was really hungry by then. but adrian was following eric's car, so it wasn't our bad navigation that got us temporarily misplaced. had dinner at kfc and then got a lift home from adrian. all in all a good nite. managed to meet eric and manrose.

saturday:
was stu's birthday so we all went over for his birthday lunch. my auntie cooked mee rebus. mmm.. was really good.
worked at grace's cafe for the rest of the night : for about 7 hours. earnt me a total of $61.50, including tips. well it was a private function - some guy's 21st birthday party. and yeap, there was lots of booze. but i reckon his family must be pretty wealthy to be able to afford all that alcohol and food. anyway, there were so many drunk guys and tipsy girls. but i think there were more drunk guys in the cafe - all singing and yelling "yaaaaaaaaaaaaaam seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeng!" at various times during the nite. felt alot like a chinese wedding dinner. the guy's dad was completely drunk: his face was all red, blood shot eyes and constant yelling and blabbering. he'd also look at me and grace, smile and then wink. *cringe* o yes and he also went up to his son and said: "happy birthday son! it's your birthday. happy birthday!!" his auntie was slightly tipsy. she was dancing and waving her glass around. she also described her nephew's friends as being very "peeeesed". lol. well they were anyway. there was guy who was wearing a blue stripey shirt and he was there from quite early on. he was already slightly tipsy by then. by around 9pm, he was already completey drunk and hugging all his guy friends. had to go out and empty the beer bottles into the recycling bin throughout the nite and every time i went out, i saw him squatting by the side puking. ewww. everyone finally left at 11.30pm and cleaning up was quite a pain. but i'm so happy! finally have money. = ) got home at 1 something smelling of cigerattes and beer. really sick of the smell of alcohol right now. especially beer. ughhh. i think the highlight of the evening was getting to see 2 cute guys - well in my opinion, one was cuter than the other [he looked a bit like mark chay and had a really really nice side profile]. but they were supposed to be twins. non-identical ones of course. grace thought his brother was cuter and so we decided that i'd have one and that she'd have the other. this was all in our heads of course. lol. but they left shortly after the cutting of the cake and we were quite sad, we didn't even get to say good bye! a h well, might see them again sometime.

today [sunday] wasn't as eventful. was a normal sunday i guess. had a really good sleep though. *smiles*
oo! there's also a high chance of me going back to s'pore in dec. *big grin* all thanks to shaun. i don't think he'd be reading this, but wilson says that if i do go back, he could kiss shaun. lol. now that should be interesting.

feels like ages since we were last in school.
but today wasn't too bad.
not many lessons - which is usually a good thing.

was kind of dreading first period - human bio. why? because we were going to get our test results back and i was really expecting to do quite badly. but surprise surprise, i got 67%! lol. quite happy with the result. looks like the answers i guessed were mostly correct. the rest of the day went by quite quickly. had leftover pasta for lunch. leftovers from sunday nite that is. hehe. still tasted pretty yummy. didn't do any work in intro calc at all. mrs webster was telling us funny stories about her nieces and nephews and then we went down to the computer lab and played a math game online! the game was kind of boring, but still, didn't do any work. econs was really slack today as well! finished watching 'wallstreet'. major yawn. it's this extremely boring movie, starring charlie sheen and michael douglas, basically about the stock market. fell asleep while "watching" it and when i woke up, it was still on. it seemed to go on forever... ... and everyone was visibly bored - except mr flexman. well even if he was bored, he did a pretty good job at pretending that he was actually watching the movie. meaning that he laughed at the "jokes".

i'm slowly paying back my debts. lol. but i think i'm still having trouble with my finances. still owe tina money. but at least i can pay her back in instalments. = ) that's always a good thing. well i'll be working on saturday nite at grace's parents' cafe. yayy. money. wheeee.

ahhh. tomorrow is monday's timetable. today was tuesday's timetable and so now it feels like the week is reversing. how annoying. pe first period tomorrow. hmm. i'm actually quite enjoying beach volleyball!!

the long weekend's over.
just like that.
i hate how holidays always end so fast and school days take forever to end.

but i think i spent the last day of the long weekend quite well. = )
went to Araluen with my parents to see the flowers in bloom, it was really nice. there were pansies planted everywhere! and by pansies, i mean flowers.

really really like my new blog layout.
very bee-you-tee-ful!
thanks gil!! = )

hmm. for a moment there i forgot that i have school tomorrow.

slept over at tina's house last nite.
i think it's now safe to say that we're quite sick of each other [we meaning grace, tina and me].

anyway,
cooked tuna bake for ourselves and tina's family.
it was nice, the only problem was that there was too much!
a real overload of pasta.
*feels sick*
everyone had to eat a minimum of 2 servings. lol.
still some more left so tina's bringing some to school for lunch on wed.

managed to watch 4 out of the 7 videos we borrowed.
*smiles*
- 'from hell'
go johnny depp! he's quite awesome in a really dark, mysterious way. he just always looks so calm. but it was quite sad how he was also an opium addict. hmm. the murders were quite gruesome, but quite a good movie. = )
- 'a walk to remember'
mush fest. ughh. one of the sappiest movies i've ever seen. it was so sickeningly sweet i wanted to hurl, except i think by the end of the movie i was quite past the hurling stage. but i think tina and grace really enjoyed the movie. lol. they were going completely crazy over shane west and how sweet he was. as you can tell, i'm not much of a sappy-movie person.
- 'bridget jones' diary'
hehe. funny movie.
- 'princess bride'
one of those obscure random movies. it was quite funny, although i think i like 'robin hood: men in tights' more.
by the time we finished watching these movies, it was 4.30am. well grace and i managed to stay awake throughout. tina's head was hurting and so she fell asleep but watched snipets of 'princess bride'. she said she heard me giggling. hmm.

woke up at about 9.. i think.
we went to the city after that and today's city trip was more aimless than usual.
been hearing stuff about some year 10 aquinas guys and so we decided to see what they look like today as well. tagged along with the year 10s for a while just to see what the guys were like. i've come the conclusion that most of the asian aquinas guys are anti-social. their communication skills suck. but at least there were 2 guys who were average looking [which is more than i can say for the asian aquinas guys in our year].

yayy.
no schoool tomorrow!

today was a good day.
grace and i managed to accomplish many things today!

chinese school was quite fun.
i get to do more teacher-ish things now - i.e. taking attendance and marking books
the gay teacher, bo hua lu, is such a weirdo. well, we're not actually sure that he's gay... but he just gives off gay vibes. the man wears velvet pants for crying out loud. anyway, he spends the entire recess yelling at the children for various things.
"girls, stop running! i said stop running!"
"girl, sit properly. don't put your leg on the bench."
"boys, what are u doing? come here."
"boys, stop running!"
grace was getting very annoyed with him.
grace: why don't you just let them scrape their knees!
this wasn't said directly to him of course.
last week, tina saw him walk straight into a pillar. lol. so we turned around after she told us and there he was, looking around hoping that nobody saw what happened. *snicker*

we went to hungry jacks for lunch today!
it was a toss up between Nando's and Hungry Jacks but we figured that Hungry jacks would be alot cheaper. was still quite a satisfying lunch. = ) double cheeseburger... mmm.
had a major bitching session, yet again. it seems that hungry jacks is one of our official bitching spots. we were trying not to bitch too much and we concluded that we'd either get struck by lightning or that god will smooooosh us with his giant hand. ah well, we're still here - in one piece.
went to borrow videos for tomorrow's sleepover at Tina's house. got 8 videos out. woohoo! party. we plan to stay up all night and watch the sunrise... yes yes, we always say that. we'll try our hardest this time. i think.
ooo. going to cook pasta for tina's family tomorrow night too! lol. but our cooking's not too bad, so hopefully there won't be any bad cases of diarrhoea or anything.

o yes. went to grace's house after that and watched 8 mile. it's an o k show... lots of sex. hmm. and brittany murphy's not that pretty, i reckon she looks a bit odd. but she's really skinny. the rap battles were quite cool too.

yumm yumm.
had oxtail stew with spaghetti for dinner.
*smiles*

the long weekend is finally here!!
at long last.

mrs. lorrimar is such a dumbarse.
-sigh-
i feel quite sorry for her.
but at the same time, i find her most annoying. how can anyone be so blur?!
and i can't believe that she's our half-home room teacher. gawd.
perhaps the most annoying thing is how she always gets our names wrong, and it's not just once. this morning, she called me SYMONE... again! she says that i look like symone [this other girl in my homeroom]. erm, i don't think so?? symone is italian and i'm chinese. big difference there. but mrs. lorrimar wouldn't notice things like that. maybe that's why she only teaches lower school english and ESL [english as 2nd language], but even then, she's completely taken advantage of.

mrs. L : so girls, is your assignment due today?
girls : err no. it's next week.
mrs. L : o! oo k. that's right.

anyway.
today, i was mistaken for a year 8 girl. but no surprise there. was talking to laura after orchestra and i was whining about my human bio test [which i will fail...].
Then this girl Tara says "o, are you in year 11?"
me: o, did you think that i was year 8??
tara: ahha. eerrm. *guilty smile*

but wait till next year!
muahahaha.
i'll be wearing the red jumper and everyone will know that i'm in year 12.

going to the Aquinas production tonite.
yayyy.
it's supposed to be good.

rainy weather isn't exactly condusive studying weather cos you just want to curl up in bed and sleep. practising great self control here. -sigh- the wrong day to be rainy and cold!
well, i managed do some work when i got home from school all the same. i also took the opportunity to change into nice warm clothing and make myself a nice cup of hot coffee. *grin* that was the best part about today. there's supposed to be a thunderstorm with hail tonight so that should be nice sleeping weather. yay.

i'm so happy!!
we did my song in music today and it sounds so cool with the drums, bass, keyboards, cello and there's even a xylophone. *big smile*

today was one of the best lunches i've had in school. EVER. ate so much, and i felt so sick after that. gee, i wonder why. lol. sausages, mini pizzas, mini pies/quiche, chocolate cake and carrot cake. i think the only thing i didn't eat was the carrot cake. carrots and cake just don't go together [unless you're talking about chinese carrot cake, then that's a different thing altogether!] it's just like how i wouldn't consider white chocolate to be chocolate.

can't wait till tomorrow after school!! cos there won't be school for the next few days!! i love long weekends. i don't even see why we get a mid-term break when the term's feels like it's just started. but o well, any excuse not to have school is always a good one.

go long weekends!!
wheeeeee

attention-seeking issues

if you really want to ignore your friends, it's really simple! All you have to do is continue talking in another language. By doing this, you will exclude the other 2 people in your group. but don't worry, i'm sure they're quite used to it by now. it's not that they haven't tried to get your attention, no. they have. you were probably too busy conversing in another language to notice. but you're not completely oblivious to their presence though, you do notice when they get up to leave. wow. observant. however this observation is only temporary, it's not long before you start your own conversation... again.

because of this, i think grace and i have developed attention-seeking issues. lol. or so she claims. but i think i'm quite over the whole language thing. it's probably harder for grace cos she's in most of their classes but i think she's hanging in there. *pats grace on back* perhaps we should consider our plan to bring whistles ?

don't get me wrong. it wasn't my intention to bitch about my friends. it's just that maybe they should learn not to be so rude. it's probably also useful for them to know that English is a universal language and that when making plans to go out, perhaps it would be useful if everyone was included in the conversation.

and it's not that we haven't kicked up a fuss about all this before. we have. we got an apology. and a 'we'll try not to keep doing it'. rite. all talk and not much action. but we're going to do something about it, we should. if not the problem will just get bigger and bigger but we don't want a big confrontation cos that might lead to an argument, which could eventually end in tears and anger. something we obviously don't want. so maybe we'll just stick to giving them gentle reminders then ? o i don't know.

so then you wonder, why do we continue to sit with them?
hmm. i sometimes wonder too.
well they're nice friends in other ways and i think they just ignore us unconsciously - which isn't a good thing.
i guess it's your friends who have the right to shrink your head when it's getting too big, or to tell you to stop acting like an idiot.
someone needs to remind them about good manners and who better than their friends?

although i have to admit, we are quite mean to them sometimes.
but we don't intend to insult and/or mock your little so-called traditions. honest. and i'm sorry if i've been a bitch in any way.

something's wrong with our internet.
again.
poo.

if the school toilets are anything to go by, i'd say that girls' toilets are one of the worse places to be in. and then today, we went for lunch at Parry Place and it was terrible! one of the cubicles had water spewing out of the toilet bowl. like ewww. okae, maybe i'm exaggerating just a tad but it was pretty disgusting. to add to the whole grossness, there was toilet paper all over the floor too!

wet toilet paper = ewwww

i think you get the picture so enough toilet talk.

watched 'gangs of new york' on dvd this afternoon. it was nice and violent. but i think it would've been 10 times more cool if i watched it at the cinema. i wanted to, except that i wasn't 16 yet and so i couldn't watch it when i was in s'pore. i guess that's one of the down sides to watching movies in s'pore - they're really strict with their ratings.

finally downloaded the new msn messenger, after gawd knows how long. it's quite cool! get to use backgrounds and pictures and stuff. fancy schmancy. i like. = )

o yes and once again, the time comes for me to diss an australian idol contestant.
Axle. yeeap, that's his name. he said he had a jazz background in singing, but it didn't really sound like it. okae sure, he tried to scat but i'm more inclined to think that it was because he forgot the words or something.

ahhh! i really need a new layout for this blog.

sorry for the short entry, really have nothing much else to say.
so i shall end... now.

yay!!
finally managed to come online.
been trying to for the past 2 days, but the stupid internet just refused to work. was getting really really annoyed.

hmm.
the mobile network in perth really sucks.
sms-es sometimes never reach their desired destination and it's happened to me so many times it's irritating. it says: message sent, but it just never gets to where it's supposed to go and vice-versa.

had some supposed punishment at lunch time today cos i was one of the few who didn't do their econs hw. well i did half of it. why supposed?? cos we were meant to finish our hw in that time but mr. flexman ended up letting us go 10 minutes later and grace hadn't even finished her work yet. but who's complaining though. lol.

whoop-tee-dooo!!
#1: our musical is going really well. Everyone's got their lyrics written and now with the help of mr k, we're writing music and stuff. ooO! i'm soo excited!! can't wait till we actually get to perform the songs, it'll be so cool. And i get 2 trumpet solos too! *big grin*

#2: put in the order for the proffessional photos we took at the dinner dance today. yay. can't wait to get them. And once i do get them, it's time to go photo frame shopping. I'll scan them and upload them too. = )

#3: tomorrow's Friday, and then it'll be Saturday!! can't wait to go out on Saturday! Stef's treating us to lunch and then we're going to watch 'American Pie 3 - American Wedding'. Been waiting a while to watch it and now we're finally going to!

#4: Friday is just one day away. i really can't wait. i just love Fridays. hmm. But i can't go for body combat tomorrow cos we have to go to church for Assumption Day mass. day of obligation.

#5: i actually did work in RE today. very proud of my working spirit, considering i hardly ever do work when we have research and stuff to do. i mean it's RE. Not that i don't place importance on learning about God but have you read our textbooks?! obviously not, but it's complete propaganda and brain washing i tell you. i shall type out some of the text in my next entry or something.

#6: tina burnt the Michelle Branch cd for me. yay. hehe. but knowing me, i'll probably grow off it soon. Ah well. i'll just enjoy it until then.

a h yes. still searching for a new layout for my blog. = )
very happy.
finally get to come online.
have to go really soon though, have hw to do. lots of accounting and some econs. and i'd better do that econs hw. muahahaha.

cynical

i really wonder...
why is it that when people see a girl and a guy together, they immediately assume that they're going out. they're just friends. alrite, so people always say that and sometimes it IS true.

i also really want to know why people insist on eating Macdonald's, get fat and then sue the company for their obesity. isn't it your fault if you don't watch what you eat, and then get grossly overweight?? so why sue a fastfood company for your own stupid mistake?? maybe this is why Macdonald's has suddenly decided to put healthy food on their menu. it's quite disgusting.
going to a fastfood joint isn't meant to be healthy... well not all the time anyway. i think Subway's just about the only fastfood joint that wouldn't be committing a serious crime by having healthy food. but then again, is Subway a fastfood joint?? hmm.

i find it quite hard to believe that smart parents can produce a stupid child. no, not mentally retarded or having learning disabilities.. just stupid. okae, so it sounds terribly mean but i find it hard to accept. but i feel sorry for those people though, the children that is.

watched teen choice awards today - sunday afternoon tv. i hardly ever watch sunday afternoon tv. well today i did, and i kind of realised why i don't now. the teeen choice awards weren't too bad [there was keanu reeves and ashton kutcher!!], except for the fact that there were lots of screaming girls. ok, so i could picture myself doing that years and years ago [back in my teeny-bopper days that is]. but then i ask myself: why?? why did waste all that good money on crap like cheesy cds and magazines that had my favourite stars in them. i could've used that money for more worthwhile stuff... like clothes.
After the teen choice awards was 'model behaviour'. some disney movie which i've probably seen 4 times or something. and now i remember why i would've watched it before, because it had Justin [Timberlake] in it - in his younger, non-goatee days of course. alrite alrite, so he's pretty gay but i think he looked so much better before. like my mother would say: "what happened to him arh?? he used to be quite cute right."

anyhow, Australian Idol has started. well it's been on for a while i think but i actually watched it today. It wasn't too bad. i just found it annoying how the guys all sang sappy love songs. i.e. Richard Marx. don't quite go for guys who sing sappy sappy love songs [one of whom is a pig farmer]... on the whole, the 8 people who sang today weren't too bad. I thought one girl, Natalie, was pretty good though. Apparently one of the judges didn't quite like her. Instead, he chose to compliment some girl with weird eyebrows and an annoying voice. But i think i'll continue watching the show, just to see who gets in and stuff.

ahhh. this blog needs a new layout.
i want to streak my hair purple. pure purple power to be exact. i will when i get the money. but first, i have to pay Tina back. i'm seriously thinking of starting a Lynda Fund. so many things to save up for. hmm. back to the Lynda Fund, anyone wishing to donate?? i'll accept foreign currency.

***new pictures added***

still got quite alot more dinner dance pictures to upload though.

ended up watching 'the ring' today. the american one that is. i think the children are so disturbing. them and their creeeeepy hollow eyes. hmm. i think i sort of enjoyed the american one more because i could actually understand the story behind the girl in the well. but then again, maybe that's cos the jap one kept lagging when i watched it at wilson's house. anyhow, now lynne is extremely paranoid about tvs and wells. tvs - i can understand why. but wells?? the closest thing we have to a well is a basin. this is interesting, lynne's more wimpy than me and nette put together!

o and happy national day!

today's sport's carnival wasn't too bad i guess.
well i certainly had alot more to do than last year... lots of people were sick [i.e. Amy who had bronchitis] and so they pulled out of events. blah blah blah.
lol. our team got disqualified in the 3 legged race because when it came to our turn [symone and me], the tie snapped! And there wasn't any way of fixing it.. so we never finished the race. overall, o'donnell got 5th. kind of crappy still, but an improvement from last year's 6th position. other than that, everything was oo k. took lots of pictures today and so i managed to finish all my film! going to develop it tomorrow. yay.

it was surprisingly hot today!! my cheeks are slightly burnt and i think the redness accentuates my eyebags. went to garden city after the carnival and bummed around. had a choc. milkshake and some chips at the food hall and it felt soo nice. hmm. come to think of it, i ate lots today! finished most of my food before 12pm. and lunch was meant to be at what, 1 something? o well. didn't end up having my baileys ice cream from Wendy's today. but i will satisfy the craving soon. o yes, it's official. joanne is absolutely obsessed with james. surprise surprise, we saw him at garden city today. but i must say, he is quite hot. i mean, he has the ability to make joanne giggle - something which i still find very amusing.

*hmph*
i want to do something tomorrow!!
but tina, grace and marsia can't go out because they have lots of work to do. so i have to wait till next weekend to go watch 'american pie 3'. still, i really want to do something tomorrow. okae, so there's hw but that's not exactly the most exciting thing to do on the weekend. the worse case scenario: i will end up bumming around at home not doing anything school-related. in other words, being extremely unproductive. at least if i go out, i would have done something... like watching a movie or buying something or walking around aimlessly. at least if i go out, i'd get some form of exercise. one thing's for sure, sitting at home all day watching tv not only kills brain cells, it also turns you one hell of a couch potato. eat, drink, nap.. o and the occasional walk to the toilet.

*whines* i sooo wanna go out tomorrow!!

o happy day

a h.
really really really really happy now.
*grin*

no more tests till next friday!! And it's a math one. hmm. but i'm not too worried about it. = ) o yes, looks like i am more productive when amy's not around. lol. And she's my partner too. Strange. well managed to write 3/4 of our ballad today for our musical and we even have a tune for the first bit of it. All dark and mysterious. i like. Saw our dinner dance photos today, the proffessional ones that is. Everyone looks so gorgeous. And the individual pictures didn't turn out too badly too! have so many to order now. yayy.

well, the athletics carnival is tomorrow. whoop tee doo. o i just can't wait. anyhow, at least i won't have hairy legs tomorrow. decided to shave... after gawd knows how long. it's winter. the best thing about these carnivals is the photo opportunities!! hehe. i love taking pictures.

it feels so good to be able to be online and not having any hw to do. *big grin* as jack [from Will & Grace] would say, my bliss is here. i miss that show. no more good comedies on thursday nites. but then again, there aren't usually good comedies on weekday nites... besides Friends. i say, bring back Gilmore Girls channel 9!

brrrr.
today was freeeeezing.
didn't end up doing PE. *hee* asked my mum to write a note to excuse me from PE. yay. was too cold to get changed anyway. or maybe i was just being a lazy, i guess it was probably that.

really wasn't in the mood to do any work in school today. heck, if i had the choice, i wouldn't even have gone to school! Well i just found it unfair how Mr. Flexman didn't come to school today. He always seems to be absent on Mondays. If it was because he had a busy/tiring weekend, then we should have gotten the day off too! *tsk* mr flexman, *tsk* he'd better have a valid reason for not turning up to work on Mondays.
anyway, the day at school wasn't that exciting. just very cold.

o and ***happy birthday stef***. even though she probably won't read this. she's finally 15, so now she can watch MA 15+ movies! lol. Grace and i made her a birthday arm band today. It was meant to be for her head, but she was too embarrassed. So we settled with an arm band.

hmm. soo confooosed right now. issues issues.

samson kills crickets in the cutest way. hehe. he gives them quite a slow and painful death. i.e. pawing at them, eating it and then spitting it out again. took some pictures of him in action just now. awww. but the cricket's just been paralysed, so it's not dead... yet.

ahhh. i don't want to go to school tomorrow. no particular reason why. -sigh- just don't feel like it. we have PE first period, bother. O and athletics carnival on Friday. double bother. can't believe i'm going to have to run 800m, i don't even remember writing that down as one of my choices. why o why. seriously feel like injuring myself so i can't participate. i'd rather help my house to win by cheering and giving them moral support. But at least i'm in 3 other fun races:
-egg and spoon
-3 legged race
-shuttle relay

i hope they'll be fun.

well, seems like my grandfather's going to be discharged from hospital on Tuesday or Wednesday. But the doctor said that smoking again will prove fatal. -sigh- i don't see how they're going to stop him from smoking once he's been discharged. maybe hide his cigarettes or something.

hmm. maybe i'm still suffering the effects of lack of sleep. but the thing is, i usually feel most alive and awake at nite. now that could be a problem.

1st August has come and gone...

2 long days in a row.
Woke up early on Friday morning because we had orchestra and it was really not worth it. Hardly played anything and the songs we played had crappy parts in it. Anyway, it hadn't really hit us that the dinner dance was that day. Not until lunch time anyway. Was really hyper and excited about it and i don't think anyone could concentrate in that last hour of school. And then the bell rang - finally!!

Was really excited about getting ready and everything. Managed to get ready just in time, after some drama with the make up and hair. But everything turned out good, thanks for helping with my hair and make up che!

Went to pick Shaun up and headed to Tina's house. Waited for people to arrive [some ppl were late... as usual], took some pictures and then went off to Thompkins on Swan. The place looks really shitty from the outside, especially in the day, but it wasn't too bad on the inside. Had to introduce our partners to teachers and then to Mrs. Pitos. Gawd, can that woman be any more fake?! I really don't think she's a good principal. She just really irritates me. The food tasted alot like aeroplane food and i think the best part of my meal was the hard boiled egg and olives i took from the "salad bowl". Time passed really quickly and by the time we finished eating, it was already 9.30pm! Decided that we should take some pictures before dancing. Hope the pictures turn out okae. The music was alrite on the whole, except i really thought they should've gotten a better dj. And i really wished that he would play some good songs that we could at least dance to. That is what we were meant to be doing anyway. Heaps of weird, country hick-ish songs. ugh. But it was quite fun on the whole. Our partners got along quite well and some of them danced!! lol. i.e. Adrian. He was quite enthusiastic about the whole idea of dancing and that was good, but watching him dance was quite an interesting experience. *cough* *cough* Shaun on the other hand, refused to dance. The closest thing he did to dancing was swaying to the music - what a dancing queen. Took more pictures and before we knew it, it was 11.30pm - time to go home.
Hung around for a while and took some pictures outside, although it was freeezing.

Got dropped off at Tina's house after that and we actually planned to stay up all nite, with the help of lots of caffeine and sugar of course. But knowing us, we didn't manage to do all the things we planned:
watch 'the ring'
sing along to 'chicago
watch the sun rise

it wasn't even halfway through 'the ring' when we all fell asleep. I thought me and grace set an alarm so that we could at least watch the sunrise, but we didn't hear any alarm in the end. Woke up at like 8.37am and didn't go to chinese school. Just lay in bed and watched Rage. They played crappy music videos on Rage and Video hits this morning. -sigh- what ever happened to good music?! Had scrambled eggs, a small piece of some garlic-bread thing, a poppy and sesame seed cracker and some custard tart thing. O yes, and not forgetting some coffee. Felt a bit sick after all that. Then we decided to go the city! hehe. Surprisingly, we managed to meet our target of leaving the house at 11.45am. Took a bus there and on the 106, there was some guy sitting near us who was having his fix of drugs. It was kind of scary and i was really hoping that nothing would happen. Hmm. Poor guy, said a little prayer for him. Today's city trip was good. Bought that pretty skirt from Westco and this guy's shirt from Cotton On [it's chocolate. i love that colour.] All thanks to Tina. Thank you sooo much Tina!! I promise i'll pay you back in instalments. Saw a nice ring in Sparkles and so that's another item added to my wishlist!

All of us were so dead after the city trip. *yawn*
Hope you're still alive after work Grace! Tina's probably sleeping already or something.
Like i said, 2 looooong days.
