got woken up at the insane time of 8.30am, and it turned out to be this guy from St. John of God hospital. he rang to ask if i could go in for an interview at 11.30am, so i did.

went for the group assesment with Woolies today as well, and i would say both interviews went pretty well. hopefully i'll get at least one job, and when that happens i can finally say huzzah for more monies! :)

december is approaching which means it's only 12 days till my birthday!! oh i am so excited. haha. time to start some serious party planning, so you guys better RSVP.
just so you know, the menu for my party will probably be satay and chicken briyani. (perhaps that will entice you guys) and i really want an ice cream cake, but i'm not sure how that will work out. but i want one!!

so yes, those are the plans for now.
if you excuse me, i'm going to watch that 70s show.

CAT EMPIRE WAS G R E A T

the concert itself was soooo good, and i'm so glad we went =D

my complaints :
- the preshow bands were pretty shit, especially the SUNSHINE BOYS. what idiots, they were such rubbish.

- people who dance enthusiastically to filler music, which coincidentally, sounded a lot like the sunshine boys.

- too many unhealthily beached whales and too many coinslots which BELONGED to those beached whales. ugh. it was so disgusting. these people are so unpleasant, i really didn't like them. they glared at us cos we didn't know it was their spot we were sitting in, since they'd been standing up the entire time talking to each other. this was followed by loud comments about them being retarded and also taking up too much space cos they were so fucking fat.

- too many bogans. who would have known these white boys (wearing Industrie clothes, no less) and trashy white girls would be fans of cat empire. anyhoo, they were all moshing and seemed to know all the lyrics to the songs.

- some more weirdos: i.e. sleazy men (with or without tattoos) ; dwarf-like bearded men standing by themselves NOT moving at all... only smiling once in a while ; tall girl with bushy hair who was dancing strangely, she kept making jerky movements which meant her stupid hair was always in my face. so i nudged her ever so gently, and she finally got the msg. meanwhile, her idiotic friend kept stepping on my foot so i "accidentally" pushed her. such fuckers.

other than that, everything else was good =D
got some nice photos too.
oh felix and ross - grace and i love you so. you guys are too cute, haha.

alrite should probably go sleep soon, starting to get tired. all the typing and talking can be very exhausting.

a good night indeeed ^^

kinda bored and procrastinating from packing, so here are some photos from yesterday's t00-windy beach day :)

yas with the tasty lunch he made =D (there were even compartments in the lunchbox, oh he knows me too well!)

yes we do take normal ones.

being a silly old man, complaining about the sand being everywhere. lol.

one of those random shots, but you can see my nails :)

i have this urge to watch arthouse and classic movies, grace and/or tina: movie day please!
YAY!!
cat empire is tonight!!!
hopefully i can have the camera, then at least there'll be photographic memories of tonight. haha. they perform in perth pretty often, but hey, who cares. felix is so cute in his beret and stubble.

enough procrastinatoin for me, the move is pretty soon.

it was a tad windy today, so perhaps not the best beach weather. i didn't even get tanned very well - only my arms. grrr, now my arms are more brown than any other part of my body. that is poo, indeed.

ahhwell.
the food was good though =D
thanks to my personal chef. haha. yes, that is your new title!

covered in sand, we left the beach early to get a much needed shower. then went to get movies, ok a movie. oh and i watched Australia's Braniest Comedian. i thought it'd be pretty dumb cos judging from the ads it seemed to be full of lame jokes and what not. but surprise surprise, these comedians are actually quite smart.

shall go sleep soon, cos i have an early driving lesson tmr.
and lynette leaves for singapore bright and early too, so goodbye my dear sister - i trust you will have a good trip. i will give you money to buy me shoes :)

meanwhile, pray for me and my job applications.. nobody wants to hire me :(

have spent the last few hours packing stuff away into boxes. now i have this terrible headache and i blame this on those damned scotch tape fumes!!

finally finished wrapping all my cds... why on earth do i have so many of them, i don't understand. ok so they're great to listen to, but they're such a pain to wrap and thank heavens (how English of me, haw haw) they're all tightly-wrapped in bubblewrap.

speaking of which, mum&dad managed to order this huuuuuuge roll of bubblewrap (industrial size, i imagine). so i was cutting some so i could use it to wrap stuff and i was very amused to find out that it makes your hair stand - kind of like static. i'm no science geek so i'm not sure if it's static, but i was very amused nonetheless. it was then i realised also that i should probably shave my legs, cos i could feel my leg hair standing too.

i hate packing so much.
it's so troublesome and dusty and full of bugs.

all that packing/wrapping/fighting with the roll of industrial-strength scotch tape has made me rather tired. now i really have to remove my nail polish cos it got chipped and if you look closely enough, there are some hot pink bits on the scotch tape that i've used.

the good thing is, that tmr we are going to the beach =D so that's why i must shave my legs also. oh and we're going to watch Corpse Bride tonight, huzzah for johnny!
ok so i've heard that it's not that good, but at least we will be able to have the soothing sound of johnny's voice :)

yay to johnny

i apologise for the lack of updates, but on the one day that i did want to update (yesterday, that is) the internet decides to screw up. but thank goodnes, it is fixed and working once again :) huzzah, the Loos are no longer internet-less!

ok, so invites for my 18th have been sent via email. and if you haven't gotten one, then that means you'll be receiving one personally. but that's only cos i will see you in the next few days or know your home address. just don't forget to RSVP! and if you haven't received one, then that means that you're not invited cos i probably don't know you... but if i do, then ask and you will be invited!

i love that it is now the holidays and that nobody else is home, cos i can remain unshowered for as long as i want. and no, i don't care that you find it disgusting because you won't have to smell me and i don't smell that bad anyway. but no, i really like that it is the holidays cos i can watch trashy/dodgy afternoon movies like the one just now called "The Face". it starred yasmin bleath (that Baywatch chick) and did not fail to disappoint in being trashy/dodgy.

but of course, i should really be packing or folding clothes instead of watching stupid afternoon movies starring yasmin bleath. really don't like packing or unpacking, both are equally as troublesome.

can't wait till Friday: cat empire concert!!! 5 hrs of musical entertainment, i'm so excited =D i'm sure it'll be worth the long drive, and thank you in advance for driving there and back grace.
i feel the urge to play scrabble, so off i go!
(and stop giving me funny looks, there's nothing wrong with online scrabble ok)

how about this for strange.
came home before 7 cos i thought everyone was at home waiting for me to eat dinner, even though i already told mum not to wait. so i get home, and all the cars are not in the garage.

go into the house to find the doors not closed properly and that it's completely dark cos there was nobody at home - not even lynne.
missed a call from dad earlier on, so i rang back but i think it was engaged cos i kept getting the voice of that lady who says, "the number you have just called is unavailable". so i thought i'd ring mum but every single time i rang there was no answer.

today was a really good day until the shitty game of tennis we had this afternoon. grrr. some people can be so irritating, i swear. not feeling so irritable anymore, but just getting hungry.

alrite well, i'm off to wash my hands ... they feel dusty.
goodbye!

hello boredom, i welcome thee

HUZZAHH i am now freeeeeee =D
at least there's nothing wrong with being bored now, cos there's no study or uni work that i should be doing.
ok fine, so most of you would have been free ages ago but who cares.

there's nothing worse than travelling on a bus filled with sweaty, smelly, noisy, irritating school children. to that i say BAHH. the bus ride home seemed particularly long and i think my choice of seating was not exactly the best - mostly cos i kept getting knocked into by their stupid huge school bags.

apart from that, the day can only get better! (i reckon anyway)
going out tonight and i can't wait!! it's been a long time since i've been out of the house without a bag filled with books/notes to study with.

alrite, i'm going to paint my nails.
but before that, i shall play some celebratory scrabble. heehee.

i don't believe i've ever eaten that many vietnamese spring rolls over 2 days. the worst bit is that that's all i can think about now, and it makes me feel a little woooozy.

oh damn this printer for printing so slowly and damn this lecturer for having so many slides!! *shakes fist*

the curtin house (police headquarters) in the city is so dodgy... but then again, what else would you expect. lol. sometimes it's good to eavesdrop, especially when you have nothing to do. and yes, i was at a police station - don't ask questions, it's bad for you. but no, i wasn't in trouble for anything.

- this dodgy-looking aussie guy, who was also wearing socks with his slippers, walked up to the counter and said, "my girlfriend was arrested on the street the other night for assaulting someone. apparently though. anyway, she has my money."
i don't really think he could do much to get his gf out of there, but he seemed more concerned about the money.

- some guy who was filling out a form and filled in the "maiden name" section. the police officer had to kindly inform him that only married women have maiden names. HAHA. i thought it was funny, but i was the only one laughing.

- this lady walked in with a MASSIVE wedgy and she was wearing dark green hammer pants. once again, i was the only one laughing. i'm sure if my sisters or stoo were there, they would have laughed with me.

anywayy,
2 more exams to go, then freedom at last!
i really can't wait!!!!!!

hmm.
just realised that since i won't be going back to s'pore this year, i wont get to see those guys who are going to NS (i.e. shann, eugene...). aww poo. guess the next time i see them they'll be botak (not bald, as eugene so kindly pointed out).

ok perhaps it's time to ilecture, i have procrastinated enough.

die exams, die

yes boys and girls, it's that time of the year again!
every single time the exam period comes, i find myself listening to music that ranges from Interpol to the Les Miserables soundtrack - the songs about fighting make me feel kind of angry. i also tend to pin my hair up like a nerd cos it gets in the way and irritates me - god, freakin' idiot. (oh i love Napolean Dynamite, if you haven't seen it, WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU?!)

i must admit that i'm one of those friendster-surfers, especially when i'm bored cos it's such a good way to pass the time. but i was just wondering, who the hell takes so many damned photos that they can afford to change their photos almost every single day.
well, at least it gives busybodies like me things to look at. haha. hmm.

ok time to get back to study... chinese is on tuesday.
but before i do that, i shall indulge in a glass of strawberry smoothie that lynne so lovingly made for me =D mmm... strawberries - my favourite kind of berry.

oh and also, late night tv's great sometimes. you get odd shows like BlokesWorld and Joker Poker, which made me want to play poker. too bad you can't play poker with just 2 people...

never thought i would be saying this, but last night i played uther's party. although i think i know why i don't do this on a regular basis. ANYHOOO, the people on that game are so ... weird. judging from the way they type, they're probably fobs.
they say things like, "so fast one! how come like that?" and "sorry la, i go toilet. very urgent."
and i've never heard of this one before: ROFLOLMAO
i was very intrigued. that's even better than ROFLMAO and spa-ghe-ti!

it's friday, but not a very good one :(
