ahh!! ASIA cocktail is just TWO days away =D
it seems that the event will be pretty packed with nearly all of the 2000 pre-sale tickets sold. the dance seems to be coming along pretty well too, so yay!!
as you can tell, i am getting excited and it'll also be nice to see people whom i haven't seen since uni ended.

lynne and i plan to go for a morning jog tmr at 9am - bright and early (weather permitting, of course). it's been raining lots these past few days... so hopefully tmr morning will be fine.

going to uni to do some work tmr too. really gotta study for my chinese midsem on monday and start on my other assignments. arrrghh. one of the linguistics assignments is driving me insane.

anyhooo, gonna go read after this game of scrabble.

went to some place in Bullsbrook (mooo.. it was very far away and in the middle of nowhere) called The Maze - it was pretty interesting and the mazes were quite fun. shouldn't have worn shorts cos now i have these damned mozzie bites all over my legs... grrr.

other than that, i'd say my weekend went well except for a few minor mishaps. but that's all sorted now, it's all good.

i am rather tired even though i got a good nights' rest, might go collapse in my bed soon. argh, my hair feels dusty... think i'll go wash it again.

mmm! the new strokes single =D indeed, it sounds different but i quite like it. and also, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to miss kris djunabli! no more of this tina business, it's kris now. haha. i congratulate you for making it to the ripe ol' age of 19!

okk, so having a reunion one year after you have all graduated isn't exactly the best idea. although i must say that more people turned up than expected. haha. funny how fast people change - in terms of looks. hadn't seen Jill for a few months and she looks different already, then there's magda who looked a bit emo. she's definitely not one of those i-want-kill-myself-cos-the-world-is-cruel freaks though, so that's good.

my only disappointment is that people like bad egg, uber nerd and amy didn't turn up - 2 out of 3 of those people i wanted to laugh at (read: not amy). yes, that is mean but i'm sure if you knew who they were you would want to laugh too.

more birthdays coming up and less money in the wallet - greeeeat. but don't get me wrong, it's not that i don't like to give. i just wish there weren't so many birthdays happening consecutively.

grr, today i got the hiccups while tweezing my eyebrows. it was not a nice experience. oh and my bad luck with letters (in scrabble) is back again. that's not a nice experience either.

it's okae, i'm sure tmr will be a splendid day... as splendid as getting a good haircut - one that i am extremely pleased with! =D

aww, so nostalgic!

went to the farewell concert for yr 12s at Santa just now, cos lynne was performing - to think that this time last year that was us up there. it was really nice to see that the bands and choirs are sounding a lot better though. made me kind of miss playing in band and stuff.

i have decided that once all this cocktail madness is over, i'll start playing my trumpet again. starting to miss it, then perhaps by the time everyone gets back from overseas Whaa Hapen will make a comeback! haha. i can't wait.

so the past few days have been long ones - filled with stall and dance rehearsals at Curtin. haven't had much time to do anything else... which is why i'm looking forward to tmr! =D tmr will be the day of my hair trim (cos i'm not actually getitng it cut very much, i think) and just hanging out.

this is odd but i'm very much looking forward to the class of 2004 reunion on friday. haha.
okae well, nothing else exciting is happening at the moment... so i shall leave it at that.

happy birthday celebrations and then some...

so last night was grace's official 18th birthday celebration (i.e. karaoke then metros after). everyone sang, so that was good and metros wasn't as shitty as expected - it got a bit more crowded after a while and there's nothing a few drinks won't fix. hmmm.

so anyhoo, today we went to Chan Brothers (an oriental chinese shop, for those who don't know) and there was Men's Pocky! okae, so i'm sure it's been out for a while but it's the first time i've seen it.

can't believe i ate more (and faster) than yas. lol. i blame this large appetite on my coming period!! cos between the 2 of us we finished a whole chicken and large chips. there was also ice cream after...

i'm so disgusted with myself.

alrite stop complaining (yas) that i don't update my blog, there hasn't been anything blog-worthy of late. okae well, up until tonight that is.

firstly, i would like to say a great big H A P P Y B I R T H D A Y to Grace aka chip jones who turns 18 today. goodbye to the use of other people's ids, you may now use your own! =D hope you have a good day, even though mondays at uni always suck.

today has been another one of those oh-man-i-feel-like-a-beached-whale days, cos we (jo, esh, nette, stoo, marie, margaret and brock) went to HanaBBQ for all you can eat korean bbq. we were there for about 3 hrs, and at the end of it we were all very happy and full. mmm - strawberry cheesecake that tasted like pocky, green jelly, various meats and squid... (we passed on the soups, they were a little weird-looking)
i think we did a pretty good job, although i don't think anyone can eat $22.50 worth of korean bbq.

a few things that have gotten on my nerves today:
- my crappy chinese dictionary
- the horrible reception in the house today. could hardly hear the other person and sms-es took forever to send and receive.
- my hair smells like meat, albeit not as tasty

alrite. well, i think i shall make my way to bed now. those dark circles under my eyes are starting to reappear.
hmm oh and my room is starting to look like a rubbish bin - paper and plastic bags everywhere!

don't really have much to say, decided not to blog at all - tis much better than making inane comments.

on that note (this is not *that* inane), i just have to say that overly mushy couples make me want to BARF. ahhhhhhhhh, you don't understand how much it gets on my nerves! might as well go the whole way and type in that uPpEr cAseEe lOweRr cAseEe crap. grrrrrrrr!! squiggle star squiggle - assholes.

am in a rather melancholic mood at the moment.
haven't felt like this in a long long time, don't know why the odd emotions are back. hmmm.
oh and i'm starting to have weird dreams again - arguments involving drugs & alcohol; angelina jolie & brad pitt (or maybe that was something i read/saw some time during the day); mr k proposing to some woman who wasn't jenn.

anyhoo, time for bed i think.

ONE more week and the holidays are here - time to catch up on uni work. boohoo.

we have finally watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! even though the original plan was to go yesterday when it opened, i'd say one day late is good enough. haha. yes that's right, perth is slow and it only just opened yesterday (Sep 1st). but it was a fantastic moviee!! really don't mind watching it again... tight-arse tuesday, anyone?

my nail polish is chipping (and only after 4 days), i am upset. BUT the fact that i got new jeans today from Live compensates for the sadness. yay black jeans! the ones that i've been wanting for a long time. just to need to cut them cos they're too long, as usual.

going to be broke again, september is the month FULL of birthdays. i shake my fist angrily at all the parents of these children, having a good time on new years and all. it has caused the friends of these september babies to be broke!

bahh. i am bursting out of these jeans - not good.
had already eaten dinner before going to Dino's for sam(son)'s birthday thing, cos he told us there'd only be finger food. the moment we arrived there was noodles and stuff. ahhhh, the fishballs and what i thought were calamari rings kept calling out to me (they turned out to be onion rings).

so anyhoo, i shall go to bed now. raaather sleepy.

finally finished my linguistics assignment, have to go see Shelly (the gnome-like man) about the other assignments i missed and whether he still wants me to complete and hand them up. really hope i don't have to, but i'm pretty sure that won't be the case.

went to Sizzler last night - it never fails to disappoint. my only regret is that i was too full to finish the tasty bread. lol.

huzzahh! today is the 1st official day of spring! it's 19 degrees and the sun is shining (and it's supposed to for the rest of the day). getting real hungry so i'm gonna go find some breakfast-type food.
