at least i have a late class, so it's not so bad.

oh i am sad that the holidays have ended ... it feels like there's so much more to do, but i guess that'll have to wait till the next break we get.

tis a mazda metro ... one of those boxy ones.
it's really easy to drive, and any car is fine for me :)
so finally i get to drive to work without having to catch a bus from that very far bus stop. yay!

Been watching the Wintery Olympics in Torino, and i must say the sport that intrigues me the most is probably the Louge. It's actually just a tobogan on ice, and although it looks like there's not much skill involved i think it's quite difficult - one of those things where it isn't as easy as it looks (and it's not very safe either).

Anyhoo, the thing that amused us about the Louge is that there's a doubles one. This means there's actually 2 guys or girls lying on top of each other, as they race to get the quickest time. Probably wouldn't have noticed it as much if not for my dear sister pointing out that it looks pretty gay. It was only after that that i started noticing some innuendo in the commentary, i.e. "this pair is actually very small compared to the others".

Hmm, work was okae today. Even though it wasn't all that busy, i felt more tired than usual. My back was aching more than usual today too ... starting to feel those Body Balance stretches in my legs too. Ahh well, i am declaring a day off work tmr :) i can't wait.

1st shift for this week done!
was a little quieter than usual, but there were still enough customers to keep us busy. grr now i have this massive headache that won't go away ...

went for Body Balance with nette today - it's a combination of yoga, pilates and tai chi. my favourite part was the relaxation at the end :) fell asleep and it was nice.

Since I was working all day, and Yas is working all night, our day out is postponed to tmr. All-you-can-eat lunch at Hana BBQ =D mmm i can't wait. Must remember to wear expandable pants or something.

At the petrol station today, the cashier's name was Roscoe. It reminded me of that stupid show that they show on abc called 'Radio Free Rosco'. I think it's Canadian ... not that that is the reason for it being stupid.

It's also rather cold and windy outside, very un-summer weather if you ask me. Was outside taking down the laundry from the line that is wayyy to high (and no, it's not just cos i'm short) and the windyness made it even more difficult than usual to do so.

Today is the first time in months that i have absolutely nothing to do.
Rang work yesterday to let them know that i am back, but Linda (the supervisor) wasn't around, so i just left a msg. Am probably going to ring again today, cos i really want to start work again - my bank balance is quite quite low.

Silly uni has not let me do Chinese 307, probably cos i'm not actually in 3rd year, but i thought there wouldn't be a problem since i was doing 205/206 all of last year. Bloody hell, it's so troublesome.

we decided to go to the airport to wait cos apparently there's a higher chance of getting the flight. if only those stupid SQ people told us earlier, lynne and i would have been home a lot earlier. grr.

ohwell, whatever it is, we are back :)
hung around the airport for 2 hours or so before they told us the good news.

HELLO from singapore!!

am using my late grandpa's lap top, which was left in the flat. quite glad that we now have a laptop to use so we can access internet from home, it's pretty slow but ohwell, something is better than nothing.

so yes, i was meant to be back ages ago, but many things have happened and so i am still here. you might say lynne and i were stranded cos we couldn't get a flight back to perth. bahh, it totally sucks. been on the wait list for the past few days and still no luck! i don't believe that that are NO seats for TWO people. grrr. got fed up and so now we are on a confirmed flight on feb 7 ... which means lynne will miss a week of school. i just want to go home!!!

yas: maybe you should take up a temporary hobby - like knitting. at least until i get back anyhoo, haha. you can start equipping yourself with winter wear, might as well start early :P.

today sue brought me to orchard plaza for eyebrow threading. the lady used to have a shop in little india, and it's about $7. except if the boss is there then it's $4. my eyebrows have been shaped!! i am so happy =D

i also got emo glasses... even more emo than the last ones. i like them a lot!
waiting for America's Top Model to start, good thing we can survive on late-night tv. the shows aren't too bad.
