While listening to triple J (radio) today, a song was requested by this exotic-sounding woman named Nadia. The title of the song was: You Bloody Motherfucking Arsehole. It had a folky sort of tune which didn't really fit the angry lyrics. At least she got her point across ...

That was probably the only other thing that made my day, apart from the Malteser easter egg i had with my tea =D

At 8.45am,
dad & i went to SGIO to get an assesment of the damage to my car, and it's gonna cost about $1500. eeeks! and it's only the left side of the bumper too. bahh, oh well. at least it's getting fixed soon. although now i realise that i'm more paranoid when driving in front of elderly people.

came home and went back to bed, which was nice cos i always enjoy sleeping in and not having to set my alarm. it's also nice to wake up to Hotcakes (thanks to seester lynette)! then we had chicken and assorted salads for lunch ... i love chicken =D

speaking of which, yas & i had Nando's on tuesday and it was deeelicious. i think he is still shocked at how much the both of us can eat (i.e. a Fiesta: a whole chicken with large chips). we don't usually finish the chips but on tuesday, we did. i was quite surprised actually, cos yas doesn't eat all that much ... i think his family combined doesn't eat as much as mine does!

he also told me that i was the only person who could eat the Fiesta with him, oh i feel so special. but that also means that nobody else can eat that much food with him at one go -_-

tis a nice day of lazing around, indeed :)
will probably do my linguistics assignment today so that i don't have to worry about it over the weekend.
looking forward to the weekend!!

i haven't been home from uni this early in a really long time :)
oh what a refreshing change, haha.

chinese mid sem this morning was quite horrible, i hope i don't do too badly.
it wasn't a very good morning at all ...
cold & rainy!! 11 degrees or something ridiculous like that.

instead of hanging around at uni, i decided to come home to watch dvds since i haven't finished watching season 1 of 'the L word' yet. just have to wait for dearest lynne to finish watching Oprah. it's one of those gift-giving episodes, sigh, i am so jealous.

HMM OH YES,
a very h a p p y b i r t h d a y to lynne. she's now all of fourteen years old and still as silly & noisy as ever.

work has made me feel even more tired than usual today, haven't had difficult customers in a while and of all days to have some!
grrr.

anyhow,
heart of asia was somewhat disappointing ... i think there should be more female than male judges cos obviously the slutty ones are gonna win. some of the prettier/hotter ones didn't even get into the top 4! i have no idea what the criteria for scoring brownie points with the judges was, but i think looks should be one of them. even if it was, i couldn't really tell (judging from the winning pair, yuck).

the study break has ended, and there hasn't been that much studying going on so i will definitely have to do some tonight :(
then perhaps i can go out later in the night for ice cream or something. mmm!

shoulders are aching so i will go now.

funny thing with friends - how you always win some and lose some.
i realise some people are just not worth your time and effort, cos no matter how hard you try to be nice, you don't get any kind of response.

urghhh, what an angry day it has been!
i don't understand how anyone would not show any initiative, especially when it comes to meeting up with friends (or responding to msgs/emails for that matter).

and also,
why do people have to complain so much when asked to do something nicely??!!! it doesn't hurt to be helpful/responsible.

on a happier note:
i didn't know eric lively was on the L word!!!
i liked him once upon a time when he was on a show on Disney Channel called 'so weird'.

i really can't wait ... although i have to spend some time during then to study for my 2 mid sems. ohwell, at least there'll be no classes to attend.

when i got home from uni today, mum gave me an m&m mini easter egg =D it was so tasty! an egg with mini m&ms embedded in the chocolate ... yummm. she bought all these other easter chocolates and put them on the top of the fridge, reason being there's not enough storage space for them. i thought it was so none of us could reach it and eat it all before easter was over ...

we also have the latest issue of New Idea, heehee. i've been wanting to purchase this trashy magazine just to read the gossip - kudos to whoever bought it :)

it will be the first time in a very long while that i have used money in my bank account, oh well, i think it's worth it.

i can't remember what 'argument' us neighbours had just now, but i think it ended with her waving her rude finger at me and me yelling something like, "get your stinkin' kids off my lawn!".

i can't wait till the easter break.

arghhh, rather agitated.
a few things have led to this feeling i think ...

firstly, i hate driving around 5-6pm cos the sun's at this funny angle that's just below that visor thing in the car that's meant to block the sun. i think only short people have this problem, cos the only other ppl i've seen experience this are mum and Yas. hehe. even wearing sunnies doesn't really help cos it's still extremely glaring. plus, all that sun has made my face all hot, rosy and painful!!

secondly, my nose was completely fine today until Chinese. bloody hell. maybe it was just the room, cos my nose starting dripping uncontrollably and all that blowing of my nose made me sneeze.

hmm i thought there were more, but now that i think about it, i only have 2 major complaints. (somehow the other ones disappeared)

OK well i'm done with my end-of-day rant.
i am happy because since there is Prosh tmr morning, i have no classes at uni!! =D
going for a bit of shopping with Natasha and Julie and then to uni to do some study. but yay, no classes!!
