Boohoo, uni starts tomorrow :(

Don't actually have to go to any classes tomorrow, but my timetable's all screwed up! Most of my lectures clash so i'll be spending my free time in the library i-lecturing, bahhh.

Really hoping that i can sort my enrollment out as well ... having to get special approval for 3 out of the 4 units that i'm doing is really annoying.

How's this for ridiculous ...
This woman got herself on Today Tonight because her boss told her to wear a bra to work, but she doesn't want to. She said, "It's his problem, not mine!"

Gosh, is that too much to ask?
Women complain about getting saggy tits but maybe they would complain less if they actually wore a bloody bra. Proper breast support is very important to me and i get really annoyed whenever i see a woman with a really thin bra and worst still, if she's not wearing one. There are of course times when one cannot wear a bra, and i understand that, but when it's possible just wear one please!

Another thing that really gets me is when i see women with facial hair - i.e. moustache, really thick eyebrows, a mono-brow or sideburns. Just makes me want to remove the hairs with a pair of tweezers or some wax.

Anyhoo, been in a weird mood today, i think the meds i've been taking for my cold & chesty cough are making me cranky and woozy. Good news is that my nose and throat feel less clogged, bad news is that i still can't really hear properly and my ears aren't popping like they should (when i swallow and stuff) !

Hopefully i'll feel better tomorrow cos it's UWA O DAY, which i'm pretty excited about :D

today's been a really good day so i'm quite pleased :D
got a haircut & bought some new clothes (that were on sale, might i add).

having steamboat for dinner & will be going to play mahjong tonight! woo, hopefully i can win money again. haha.

h-h-happy valentine's day, you guys!

Got back from Singapore yesterday and still adjusting to daylight savings. Before i knew it, it was night time and i had no idea where the entire afternoon went.

It was nice to see some familiar faces again :)
And it was also nice to hear that i'm not as fat as i thought, or as mum put it, "you're not much of a tang yuan what!"
Still got to exercise though, i feel the flab.

Anyhoo,
Must dash! Julie is my valentine's date for tonight and we'll be feasting on Mexican food and drinking Margaritas out of fishbowls, glug glug.

Arrived in Singapore last night and about 11.30pm, the flight was okae, except there was lots of turbulence. Oh and the toilets on the plane were particularly roomy, which is a good thing for people who have weak bladders and appreciate good toilet experiences.

Woke up this morning feeling slightly strange ...
1) No Nat, Jian and Tash to hang out with
2) No more chao fan/niu rou mian/50cent lamb skewers/jiao zi
3) No DD to sms or ask, "ni zai gan she me"

It's so weird having to adjust to warm, moist weather & crossing roads the right way - keep having urges to jay walk at traffic lights! And also, i keep looking at the wrong side whenever i cross the road, grrrr.

Anyhoo,
i'll be back in Perth on Tuesday :D

Hello hello !

Am in a particularly good mood because the China Field Study programme is officially OVER :D Kinda hard to believe that 2 months have passed by so quickly, will be leaving China on Saturday and stopping by Singapore for a few days.

Anyhoo,
just a really short update cos i'm quite tired and can't be stuffed thinking about what to say. Woke up early just to wash my hair and have a nice long shower cos i've been feeling dusty ... i like China, but i can't wait to leave Beijing.

One last thing : all i wish is for it to snow before we leave on saturday!!! (but not so much that all flights get cancelled, of course)
