So the countdown begins . F I V E days till A.S.I.A COCKTAIL ... !! Excited but also worried/anxious about how things will turn out . I know it's going to be good this year, it's just the days leading up to it that are stressing us out (to dA mAXxXXx~*, as my Asian counterparts would say) .

Was a fun night, mostly cos it was with people i haven't hung out with in a long time. In fact, we don't even go drinking and stuff with each other.

Saturday
Lunched with the fambly & then Lynne and I headed to Heathecoate for a picnic . Had scones, tea & some tangello(e)s .

We made a pact not to go to Metros until Cocktail, but i don't think we've done too well ... it's not our fault that people decide to have birthday drinks there. We did have a purpose last night though - ticket selling & promotion. Twas a good night, somehow everyone was there so it made our night worthwhile. I guess there are times when being designated driver isn't so bad, usually get really bored.

Okay so i've been busy with uni as well . Assignments are starting to pile up and they're all due around the same time so i think it'd be wise to get a head start .

To conclude my long post, i would like to say that the Loo family will be complete later tonight !!

Guess who finally got tickets to the JT concert ... !!!!
They added another show on Saturday, Nov 10. Pre-sale tickets came out on monday and we managed to get gold sitting ones ! I know standing ones would be so much better, but i'd rather not be around screaming/crying JT fans. I'm not even a huge fan but i know it's going to be a really good concert, pity Crystal can't be here to enjoy it with me :(

Only 9 (yes, NINE!) days to A.S.I.A Cocktail ... so i hope you guys get your tickets asap . All the details are on my friendster/facebook - i have typed it out many times so check it out there & msg me for tickets !

I promise it will be a good night, so gather a bunch of friends & get your tickets okay ??!!

WHEN, when all this madness end ?!

I'm going to sound like a complete bimbo but ... OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG . Excitement is an understatement for how I feel right now .

I have also just realised how difficult it is to convey your excitement in a different language . It's really not the same, especially when the other person doesn't understand the whole concept. It's like talking to a wall .

Since the last time i've blogged ...

There has been more disaster in our home: the fences on the perimeter of our backyard got blown over by 100km winds ! Now everyone can see into our house and vice-versa . When they look into our house, they probably wonder what the hell is going on in here, looks like we've been robbed of our furniture & left with only a bird cage.

There is a leak in the office and we're not sure where it's coming from . One of the places that water could possibly be dripping on is the reception area - directly above where i sit . Fun .

The week break has come to an end, so Grace & I are heading out tonight :) Now to find something to wear ...

I've finally found the time to go the gym . Went for pump this morning and decided not to suspend my membership .

I FINALLY GOT PAID !!! I no longer owe the bank money, wooot ! At least now i have the money to find myself a dress for Cocktail, which is not too far away ...

My week break has been anything but. There is no other way to describe today besides fucking annoying. It must be a combination of living in the dustiest house in the universe & never being able to get the right amount of sleep.

So anyhow,last night was Grace's little shindig at Tiger Lils. The platters were tasty, the drinks were good, the bartender was quite the good looking chap & we took lots of photos. Overall i would say it was a good night out for everyone :) Oh yes, no embarrassingly drunken stories from anyone - even the birthday girl . What a bunch of well behaved kids .

Tomorrow is my first day off this weeeeeeek !!!! Can't wait to sleep in . I've decided to clean my room . Yes ladies & gents, it is so messy that even I can't take it . I'm sure my mother has waited all her life to hear me say that .

There is good teevee on tonight, must dash !

Renovation Rescue

Since a (very) large proportion of you don't live in my house, you're probably not aware of what's going on right now. This is also for the benefit of my dear sister who's away in Singapore at the mo' - i'm sure you've heard about the drama, but you haven't seen it .

So our timber flooring was meant to be completed ages ago, but there have been a few hitches.

They were meant to be even out the uneven sections of our current floor, but they obviously didn't do a proper job . Kind of looks like a child's sand pit actually.

So now they have to rip up all the tiles and that means DUST EVERYWHERE! To prevent everything else from getting dusty, we've covered the entire place in plastic ...



Doesn't that make you want to jump on it? I know Lynne & I want to, probably not a good idea to give mum/dad a heart attack.

There you have it, folks! So you see i was not lying when i said our house was all wrapped in plastic ... and that our flooring is cause for stress. Hopefully it'll all be done by Friday like they promised, can't wait to eat on a proper dining table & walk around barefoot on nice timber flooring.
