AND SO TODAY WAS MY LAST DAY OF UNI AT UWA ...

It was a nice one though :) Long leisurely lunch with two lovely ladies, jess & julie . Had our mains at Lambretta & then dessert at Dome . In other words it was an afternoon of pigging out .

My last & ONLY class today was an interesting one . It's made me realise that i've become more sociable since my first year uni days . 1st year lynda wouldn't make the effort to befriend people in tutes or even open my mouth to contribute during class . All in all i think i've gotten more out of tutes in this last year, so i'm happy about that :) Good to know that i've gotten something out of my 3 years of university education ...

So now it's time for the fun bit - exam prep . The only consolation is that i won't have to be mad studying and memorising stuff, i guess . I don't mind researching , it's just having to remember what i've researched and hopefully being able to apply this knowledge to the questions .

Going to get myself that sexy red ipod nano veryyyy soon ! It will be my faithful companion during this exam period .

In other happy news, JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE is fast approaching !!!!!!!!!! You can tell from the number of exclamation marks that i am EXCITED :D Oh yes indeedy .

Alritey well, i think that's enough babbling from me . Going to relax and unwind for a bit before i start my exam prep tonight , go me , add oil !

In between there was dinner at Sheraton, but i don't have photos for that one ... yet .

So lastly, it's AGM !
It was time for us top4 of 2007 to step down & make way for the young'uns . Overall, it was a good night & on hindsight i will miss the A.S.I.A stress, tears & running around .

Love them all to bits and i realise it's cheesy every time we say it, but we really are a big family. My uni life would've been so odd if i hadn't met all these people, really .

Grace friend & i went to see Talib Kweli, who was supported by Scribe & Zeph & Azeem . Twas a good concert - not too many try hards, but still a weird mix of people in the crowd ... people you wouldn't expect to be at a concert of this kind , haha .

So last night we went for buffet at Sheraton and it was a little disappointing, but everyone had fun :) The company was good & i still can't post photos cos of our internet, but i promise there will be a photo update after Tuesday!

In other news ...
It's week 13 aka the last week of uni EVER ! Well in Perth anyway . Not quite sure whether to feel happy or sad , but i know i'm going to miss seeing everyone around; being able to go for lunch at Broadway; lounging around on the lawn eating ice cream; sitting outside guild cafe with a coffee/hot chocolate; sitting at A.S.I.A stall listening to chinese society's horrible music choices; attempting to study in the library and there's so many other things that i will miss about being at uni . (cue: awwwww ...)

Exams are coming which means the holidays are near ! Been thinking about them so much and it excites me every time :D

Ooookay off to get a hot drink, yess, i'm still sick . I feel like an old woman .

Why hello there

It's been a really long time since i've posted anything, but that's mainly because i have many photos which i can't post due to our extremely slow internet . Not quite sure when it will be restored, but hopefully it will be soon !

So now that Cocktail is over, the only things to look forward to (for the rest of semester 2) involve uni work - essays, research, more essays ... you get the idea . On the bright side, there are only about 2 more weeks left ! Then of course there are the exams, but since i only have two papers i'm not really complaining .

I love holidays & i really can't wait . Julie & I booked our flights for next years sg/china trip so we are happy, but waiting not so patiently .

It's starting to feel a lot more like summer which could be the reason for my sore throat . Pass me some honey/lemon tea please .

well yes, it is past midnight ... so it IS tonight!

it's been such a long day - many things have happened but i'm so relieved right now .

Cocktail is gonna be G R E A T this year, i know it ! that means you should get your tickets if you haven't done so cos they are gonna sell out by tmr morning . tickets are still available @ the door, so don't fret!
