i think this must've been one of the most eventful weekends i've had... in a long time.
friday:
went to watch eric's hockey game after school.
adrian came to pick us [me, grace, tina] from my house at 4.20pm so we all had to get changed really quickly once we got home. the hockey game was quite ermm.. boring ? well it would've been more exciting if Melville [eric's team] scored at least one goal. the final score was 11-0. Hale won. obviously. -sigh- quite sad. anyway, the hockey was played in Hale aka manrose's school. he walked over from the boarding house and talked to me for a while. oo! we saw mars too! it was just an orange speck in the sky, looked alot like a star. after about an hour or so, the hockey game ended [all this went on during the hockey match...] and we were all hungry. so adrian suggested we go to the city for dinner. so off we went, all 9 of us. took the scenic route to the city. lol. spent about 45 minutes driving before we actually reached the city. i think everyone was really hungry by then. but adrian was following eric's car, so it wasn't our bad navigation that got us temporarily misplaced. had dinner at kfc and then got a lift home from adrian. all in all a good nite. managed to meet eric and manrose.
saturday:
was stu's birthday so we all went over for his birthday lunch. my auntie cooked mee rebus. mmm.. was really good.
worked at grace's cafe for the rest of the night : for about 7 hours. earnt me a total of $61.50, including tips. well it was a private function - some guy's 21st birthday party. and yeap, there was lots of booze. but i reckon his family must be pretty wealthy to be able to afford all that alcohol and food. anyway, there were so many drunk guys and tipsy girls. but i think there were more drunk guys in the cafe - all singing and yelling "yaaaaaaaaaaaaaam seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeng!" at various times during the nite. felt alot like a chinese wedding dinner. the guy's dad was completely drunk: his face was all red, blood shot eyes and constant yelling and blabbering. he'd also look at me and grace, smile and then wink. *cringe* o yes and he also went up to his son and said: "happy birthday son! it's your birthday. happy birthday!!" his auntie was slightly tipsy. she was dancing and waving her glass around. she also described her nephew's friends as being very "peeeesed". lol. well they were anyway. there was guy who was wearing a blue stripey shirt and he was there from quite early on. he was already slightly tipsy by then. by around 9pm, he was already completey drunk and hugging all his guy friends. had to go out and empty the beer bottles into the recycling bin throughout the nite and every time i went out, i saw him squatting by the side puking. ewww. everyone finally left at 11.30pm and cleaning up was quite a pain. but i'm so happy! finally have money. = ) got home at 1 something smelling of cigerattes and beer. really sick of the smell of alcohol right now. especially beer. ughhh. i think the highlight of the evening was getting to see 2 cute guys - well in my opinion, one was cuter than the other [he looked a bit like mark chay and had a really really nice side profile]. but they were supposed to be twins. non-identical ones of course. grace thought his brother was cuter and so we decided that i'd have one and that she'd have the other. this was all in our heads of course. lol. but they left shortly after the cutting of the cake and we were quite sad, we didn't even get to say good bye! a h well, might see them again sometime.
today [sunday] wasn't as eventful. was a normal sunday i guess. had a really good sleep though. *smiles*
oo! there's also a high chance of me going back to s'pore in dec. *big grin* all thanks to shaun. i don't think he'd be reading this, but wilson says that if i do go back, he could kiss shaun. lol. now that should be interesting.
