just got back from grace's party!
whoaa.
it was one hell of a party. *smiles*

the food was really great and dinner was fun!
there was ribs, pasta, salad [with cafe 26 salad dressing], fried fish, fried squid rings... and i think that was it. o, not to mention the yummylicious birthday cake : mud cake with vanilla ice cream. mmm mmm.
okae, enough bout the food.

*note: i'm about to blog about amy, because she really wants to be part of my entries. so amy, this one's for you...

my dad dropped us off at the cafe and before turning into the car park, we saw the nova 93.7 van. so when we got there, we decided to go see if we could get freebies or a chance to say something on radio. well, there was this game where we just spinned this wheel and when it stopped at a certain number, we'd get prizes. other people got free cds, but what did i get? i got a kiss from brandon. but i never got the kiss because grace won the kiss before and so it wasn't available any more. *phew* anyhoo, took a picture with the nova van and got some stickers.

dinner itself was fun, grace opened her presents and i took some pictures of her posing with her presents. tried to get amy to smile, but no... well at least she posed in one with joanne.
heidy burnt a cd with a whole list of songs that everyone wanted and amy's 2 songs were on it: 'fever for the flavour' and 'love' by nat king cole. AND THEN, she puts too much chicken salt into the basket of chips. extremely salty, but yummy though. mmm, i can just feel the hypertension creeeping up on me. oo! and i took a picture of mika, the little cousin whom grace babysits occasionally. she looks a bit like a spoilt brat, but she seemed pretty harmless tonite. apparently she's only bratty when you're baby sitting her.

after cake, which was at about 9.30, people started to leave and soon it was just me, tina, grace, stef, heidy, joanne and marsia. it was drizzling but we really wanted to go for a walk, so we took 2 umbrellas to share amongst the 6 of us and walked down rockeby road. [i think that was rockeby road anyhow..] was pretty cool, lots of party-goers wandering around and stuff. joanne wanted to be a tourist and asked this lady to help us take a group picture. the lady agreed and before we knew it, a whole bunch of middle-aged tipsy ladies [her friends] ran towards us wanting to be in the picture. so yes, we took a picture with a whole bunch of ladies we didn't even know. but it was pretty cool. and the funniest thing was, that they thought we were japanese! some other guys walked past us and yelled "good evening" in japanese to us, they were visibly disappointed when we yelled back: "we're not japanese!" . wandered around a bit more and took a picture outside Llama bar, pretending to be standing in line, waiting to go in. yes alrite alrite, now we're bordering on pathetic. but hey, it was fun at the time.

started to walk back to the cafe, not before passing dome and that's where we spotted the hot waiter. a h h a . anyway, took more silly pictures when we got back to the cafe. i.e. ones where we vogued and we also made grace look goth! she tried on her dark lipstick [it's very cool!] and joanne did her eyes. she looked pretty goth.. hehe. took a picture to give to her as a memento!

going to develop the pictures tomorrow, since grace and i will be at garden city - 8 hr sale!! alrite so i don't have money, but i love window-shopping all the same. = )
*yawn*
alrite, i'm off.
still gotta go to chinese school later on. [it's now 1256 hrs]
