today was the LAST swimming carnival that i'll ever have to take part in ... !! and it was a good one too ...
managed to get away with not swimming at all, but i cheered everyone else on. the exciting thing was, that we came in 2nd ! yes, 2nd. it's really quite cool cos we haven't done that well in a while. 2 yrs ago, we came in last (6th place). last year, we came in 4th. yeap. so everyone was really happy ... it being our last swimming carnival and all.

there's this small asian girl in year 8 who's a REALLY good swimmer. actually, all the year 8s this year seem to be extremely good swimmers. but i was particularly amazed at this small asian girl cos she doesn't even look like she's a swimmer. AND what impressed me most was that she got 1st place in the 50m butterfly (she was wayyyy ahead of everyone else too!). so yes, i think the future of o'donnell swimming looks pretty good ... for the next 4 yrs anyway.

yeap. so that was my day ... nothing that's actually blog-worthy ! but o well. just thought i'd share the above info with everyone (and anyone) who reads this blog.

got some silly human bio assesment tmr ... on transmission of nerve impulses or something. so yes, some work for me to do. o and GOOD LUCK to whoever's got exams coming ... = )
