hahah .
small drama in the loo household just now , and it was all because there was a baby cockroach outside lynne's room door . she put a tissue over it and then both us ditzes were standing there squealing , as we were smacking it with a bedroom slipper .
i'm happy to report that the cockroach is now flattened and very dead . i hope so anyway . cockroaches are very resilient creatures , no matter how old .

speaking of funny ...
grace came over and brought the 'american history x' dvd she'd bought from indo . took the disc out of the wrapping and it turned out to be made of PLASTIC . the bastards . i guess it only cost her 60 cents , but still ! why the the movie i've been waiting to watch for so long ?!! why ??!! the other ones she bought from that same place were OK . bahhhh . still , the whole thing amused us and so we're keeping the plastic dvd to remember the incident .

ended up watching old episodes of gilmore girls . why you ask ? well stupid question ! for the simple reason that Jess AND Dave (adam brody) made appearances in some of them .

met grace for coffee at dome today :) haven't done that in a while so it was nice . well actually , it was coffee and tea . you see after sitting there for more than an hr , i felt like having another drink . so i got myself a pot of tea - a very cute looking pot too .

oh yes and ended up going to see the aussie day fireworks with adit . spectacular display , as usual . hmm . lots of drunk people around today . yes , that is how aussies celebrate australia day (i still don't know why it's on the 26th though) . got beeped at walking along canning hwy and along jackson ave walking home .

there were also drunken teens (who were obviously underaged) on the bus . making a complete fool of themselves and being pain in the asses in general . drunk girls in public - a very unpleasant sight .

yay , carouself tmr :) hope i find some nice and cheap tops . apparently there are tops going for as low as $4 ! so that's always good . wish i had money to buy a dress though . i still want a summer dress . of course , by the time i actually find one ... summer might be over . ah well .
