i think i know why i never order peach tea from utopia. it tastes nothing like peaches and perhaps it should be apple or something. ohh and also, those utopia people should learn to play proper music. today was the first time i had ever heard 'amazing grace' being remixed into a chinese song.

so today turned out to be only slightly shitty, meaning that it was less shitty than all other mondays. yayy. also got news of our chinese oral that is due next thurs. wooohooo... not.

not really in the mood to blog about other stuff. but all non-uni/work stuff seems to be going well - i am happy.

the nerd costume worked out great, except people kept picking on me and snapping my suspenders (as you do when you see/meet a nerd).
twas very embarrassing cos i had a few nerd moments ... one of which made julie & i laugh till we cried. hahah. well i did at least. it was so funny.

alritey well tmr is asia quiz night! hope it all goes well. and i really hope my costume works out. if not i'll be very sad.

today has been somewhat crappy with the stupid storms and what not. but hey, at least i've finished my chinese essay ! :) yayy. i'm so happy. only one more essay to go, although that one will be a lot more difficult to finish so soon.

op shopping was funny - there are some awful pieces of clothing that people used to wear. hahah. well at least we all found something!

eating seems to be a huge part of my life right now. lol. for that is what i do when i'm bored and ... yes, when i feel greedy. okk i'm blaming this on the weather cos it's starting to turn cold and i don't usually eat this much.

alrite well must really start on my chinese book report tmr, so i can go on to do my research essay for fecking european studies. grr i hate that unit. it's really not what i thought it would be.

didn't realise it was already 2.40 in the morning.
should probably get some sleep, but i can finally sleep in tmr! huzzah!

i hate public transport because:
there are ALWAYS smelly and/or weird ppl on it.

take this morning for example, there was this man who seemed totally oblivious to the fact that he smelt so bad. arghh. he just sat there wondering why people kept moving away or covering their noses. (i was breathing through my mouth, it was very tiring)

stupid smelly asshole.

anyhooo, uni was alrite today. nothing exciting, as usual. the highlight of my day was perhaps the $3.50 chicken rice. the french test sucked (but that is always expected) and i am now listening to some weird r&b shit. lol.

oh and i'm back to my scrabble-playing phase btw. i still don't understand why people all type in shortforms though (i.e. ty vgg, n1, gl etc...). ok so it saves time, but this is scrabble ... you're allowed to take your time. plus, it's really irritating. oh well, i tolerate it anyway :) all in the name of scrabble. hahah. typing normally in the little chat windows just makes me feeel like i'm not in the circle.

ok well i want hot chocolate and marshmallows, so i shall be headed in the direction of the kitchen.

this is completely irrelevant, but i realise that the bush plants around the arts building smell REALLY bad. especially on rainy days... ewww. so disgusting. i like the greenery around uwa, but the bush plants make it smell weird. bush - yuck. reminds me of bushwalking in year 10 camp. hahah.

the parents have left for europe and the house feels kind of odd already. lol. i also just realised how long they'll be gone for, and let's just say it is a really long time. but, they deserve the break!

anyway, has anyone ever noticed how disgusting girl's toilets are? ok i wouldn't have expected any guys to notice that, but yeah, girls toilets are so gross. i think there must have been a very strong and/or manly girl in the toilet today, cos one of the doors was off its hinge. hahaha. wonder how that happened ...

crashed the FA lecture today and no wonder ppl fall asleep. terribly boring. the poor lecturer might as well not talk, i bet he'd be more interesting if he just sat there and clicked all his slides for ppl to read. but yeah, grace didn't fall asleep today! entertained her with drawings and writing on her notes ... that was fun.

was meant to watch 'before the rain' again except the tape was so dodgy. arrghhh. bloody static was giving me a headache, sooooo i gave up and went for a walk instead.

it's so inconvenient when guild is closed. grr, EVERYTHING was shut and uni was so dead today. broadway so crowded at lunch time. lol. felt like an illegal immigrant sitting on the ledge eating my food.

so because of the strike, a hippy approached me and asked if i wanted to sign a petition. he had the mad curly hair, big beard, clothes with holes and was also barefoot. hahah. i'm sure he smelt funny too, but i didn't get close enough to see.

my parents knew i was at home and yet they set the alarm for the entire house when they went out. grrrrr!! i was just in the toilet... geeez *mutters to self*. at least if they'd set the alarm for part of the house i can understand, then i wouldn't have SET IT OFF by just going to wash my hands.

hmm well the parents are leaving for europe tmr, and they're getting all worried and anxious about leaving the 3 of us behind i think - nagging/reminding us about lots of stuff all the time. understandable, but then that makes me want them to leave asap.

TRIPOD WAS GREAT !! i have a photo with Yon but it's on my phone and i can't upload them, sorry. but yeah, it was so funny !! :) we got merchandise too - t shirts and videos and cds. haha. we are all very happy now.

today i was shat on by a fucking bird. aarghhh. soooo angry and irritated !! especially cos i was wearing a black top so it was really obvious that i had this bird poo splattered all over my chest area. and i was by myself as well ... just walking towards the octagon to meet grace when all of a sudden i feel this stuff fall on me (and i thought it was like drops of water or something).

phone call to grace: "fuuuuck!! a bird just shat on me !! -insert more screaming- are u at octagon yet btw? -insert more muttering about said bird-"

well things got better after that and thank goodness i brought a jumper so i could cover up the patches. lol. stall was funny today - gossiping with julie, bwee & sam is truckloads of fun (and laughter). i also talked to short italian guy, except i found out that he's NOT italian so therefore he must be given another name ... short guy? he's actually persian !! soo yeah he joined a.s.ia. :) huzzah.

grr. i should probably start on linguistics assignment #5 ... these assignments really bug me and they're getting more complex and random each time.
ohh quiz night is 3 weeks away and i'm supposed to make up questions for the entertainment section. heehee. hmm, wonder what i will dress up as ...
