There are quite a few things to be done, and yet i don't really want to do them. It is a Friday night and for once the rest of my family is out, and i am not.
Went late-night shopping in the city with friend Grace and it seemed to be a night out for crazy Christian evangelists cos first there was a group of them singing hymns then there was this guy (who might have been the same one we saw in northbridge a while back) telling everyone about how they should 'believe in Jesus to be free'.
The singers had a handwritten sign pasted on a piece of luggage, didn't really pay attention to what the sign said but i did notice that they had a handicapped man in a wheelchair playing the tambourine (very badly). It just looked very sad.
Didn't buy anything today, although i've found patterned shorts!!! It made my day. The downside is that they're wayyy to expensive (i.e. $150) . Even if i use my 10% discount it'll still be over a hundred. bahhh. Fiasco also had these cute dresses on sale. Tried on the limited edition sass & bide shorts just to ease my curiousity of how they would look on me, even though it wasn't my size. Saw them on ebay a while back, i think they've already been sold.
Come to think of it, our only purchase today was a packet of those Cadbury easter eggs which cost $3.30. They were really tasty but made my throat all phlegm-y.
Oh yes, went to Mambo last night at Paramount. The venue was good, but I think there were too many of those singaporen students who never go out but decide to cos it's an SSS (Singapore Students Society) clubbing function. A lot of them danced funny and almost all the girls looked the same ... black top, jeans, heels. Hehe there was a funny drunk who looked very manly (and was whining about how she missed some guy), we later saw her getting it on with one of the many sleazy white guys there. I guess some ppl really enjoyed Mambo ...
Bed time methinks.
ho hum.
