why hello there children!
i am back :D

ASIA camp was better than expected, and yes, i had plenty of fun :) and then there are the usual stories - some funny, some more disturbing than funny & then of course the scandalous ones.

off to Monkey Mia with the family on monday ... such a jet-settinng life i lead. haha, ok not quite.

rather sleepy as we have not been sleeping very much over the past 3 days, i will put some photos up as soon i get them.

going to nap.

what happy asian campers we are!
julie & i went to Chan Brothers (oriental shop) to get some supplies for our trip down south :D

- big bottle of pokka lemon tea
- canned longan & grass jelly (for dessert)
- miso soup
- mango cordial (cos it sounded interesting. mango flavoured things are usually quite nice!)

and then i got cheese flavoured twisties !!! 2 packets for $3.50. mmm mmm. was thinking about giving the other packet to my sisters, buut i dunnooo... we'll have to see.

finally getting excited about going down south, i think it was the food shopping that got me excited though! still don't really feel like it's the holidays yet, but last night was a good night :) seeing people i haven't seen in ages, and others for probably the last time in a very long while. plus, the soccer was on too!

haven't packed yet so i think i should get cracking soon ...

ok so i like just told my younger sister that she like says the word like too much, and now she's like pissed off at me. O M G.

pffft yeah.
see, it's annoying isn't it??!!!
bloody hell.

she was telling me about her dream and all i could hear was like like like like like like like like ... driving me nuts yo' !!!
perhaps one day she will know that we are all doing her a service by telling her to stop saying it too much.

EXAMS ARE OFFICIALLY OVERRR !!!!
i have been waiting so bloody long just to say that. muahahha.
even though the last exam was shit, i will not think about it anymore.

ok i'm done.
gonna go paint my nails or something.
oh chapstick, hello!

ARRRRRRRRRRGHHH.
i blame the hormones for this foul mood that i am in.
the mini marshmallows that lynette bought cheered me up for a while though, so thank you :D

just hope lynne doesn't eat them all ... just like she eats (almost) everything.

hmm.
this has nothing to do with exams, but rather with post-exam celebrations. i guess i will never understand parents who are unlike my own ...

i mean the kind of parents who don't let their children go out and celebrate the end of exams. alrite, so it's clubbing ... but it's not like their kids are gonna do something absolutely stupid. if they don't know their children well enough to know that they are responsible & are just going to spend time with their friends, then why not let them out?

you can't keep them cooped up in the house forever, and going out might just do your kids some good. how else are they going to know what's out there in the world and all that. besides, they're already old enough to know what they should and should not be doing.

i guess sometimes it's down to the kids themselves - if they don't really want to go out, then one can't really force them to. but it doesn't hurt to have a little fun sometimes. just cos you go clubbing doesn't mean you have to get drunk!

i understand that not everyone enjoys clubbing, but it's the other things too. i.e. going out with your friends or just hanging out. the thing that irritates me the most is people who make up excuses at the last minute and/or pike on you, resulting in ruined plans.

..................

so that was my little rant.
got an exam tmr, but i'm feeling surprisingly calm and nonchalant (not sure if that's a good thing or not ... probably not).

ok, off i go.

tis windy and cold today !!
rain at last. well, not that i enjoy being out when it's raining and such nice weather to snuggle in bed. but ohwell.

legs are aching thanks to the jacob's ladder that yas & i climbed yesterday. i'm very proud of myself, managed to do it twice :) considering i've never done it before and haven't really exercised in quite a long time.

time to brave the winds and go to the library to do some study ... next exam: wednesday.
can't wait till friiiidayyyyy.
-sigh, it feels so far away!

it is currently 2 degrees outside and it's fecking cold. had to run into the house since i was not prepared for such blisteringly cold weather ... grr. anyhoo, my toes are now toasty thanks to some bedroom slippers :D

had dinner at Yas' house for a change and we had this omelette stuffed with potatoes & stuff - it was pretty great. i liked it anyhoo. probably has a japanese name but i am unsure.

watched the soccer and it was a good game! argentina won 6-0, woo! quite embarrassing for the other team since their goalkeeper wasn't very good.

ooh ooh, last night we (grace, yas, nette & i) went to watch the Umbilical Brothers. they were not too shabby, but apparently their dvd is much better. still, they are a talented pair and are very good at being silly.

anyway, we have pictorial evidence:

that's just one of them (i think his name is David, he's the friendlier one)

there is lynette, boasting about having a famous person's perspiration on her jacket (and possibly hair, heh heh). also, that woman was drunk and insisted she be in the photo too.

ok!!
that is all for now
goodbye & gooodnight

my level of tolerance is at an all time LOW because work has made me so irritated and angry.
stupid people everywhere, i tell you.
obviously the words EXPRESS LANE mean nothing to them, cos they either can't read or just ignore it and put their whole load of groceries through anyway. some still look at me blankly even after i've told them it's actually an express lane, so if they have more than 10 items, then in future they should use the other lanes.

dinner was lovely and there is good tv on tonight :) so that makes me happier!
also, the strokes are coming to perth !!!!!! o m g indeed.

dad has funny comparisons.
while watching rugby just now, he said of an Australian player:
"wahh, he's so fast and strong. like a bulldozer."

hehehehe.
ohhh dad...

i have so much mucous (or if you prefer, booger) up my nose it's disgusting. my sisters laugh at me, but i can't help it if i have to snort once in a while cos my nasal passage is clogged. ok maybe except when i snorted in church during the quiet time**, but it helps to just pretend it wasn't you and give your younger sister dirty looks. heh heh. i have taken ze medication and i hope it works!

first exam is on tuesday, and guess what, still feeling as unmotivated as ever. boohoohoo. although after i finish typing this, i'm going to sit in my room and make myself study. also, off to the library tmr cos i now know why i've never stayed home to study ... it just doesn't work.

ok. time to go study i think :(

**i didn't intend for it to come out that loud, i was being gentle with my sniffing and then all of a sudden, SNORT!

this whole World Cup frenzy really makes me want to travel around the world !! was watching Getaway this evening and all the cities look so cool, wish i had the money for it all. sigh.

ohwell, one day!

i wonder if dogs ever get bored, all they do is just sit around and sleep. but on a day like today, i really wish i was Samson - no need to go to work or study, just sleep or stare into space.

|

been having this craving for mango yoghurt and was all excited about having some this morning, only to find out that dad has finished off the last bit of it :(

so i have instead settled for carrots and crackers with cheese & chives dip. mmm, quite satisfying :D oh yes, and a cup of tea with milk too. haven't had a nice breakfast like this in a while.

will probably go study after this, my first exam is in 6 days.
sounds soooner than i thought. hmm.

there were quite a few annoying customers at work today, not surprising that they were mostly asian. had some chocolate mousse after dinner so that made it all better.

i will go and nurse my swollen gum and do some study :(

just got back from a massage & pedicure, and it was grrrreat :)
i don't think Jo or Margaret read this, but the voucher was a gift from them for my birthday last year. i would like to go for another one some time soon, but probably an hour long one or something cos 30 mins felt very short.

i have always been self conscious about my toes cos my toe nails are very ugly & horrible, and the nails on my smallest toes are weird. i'm pretty sure the lady noticed cos she seemed to be trying to pick at them, haha.

but yes, overall it was a good way to start off the morning. gonna study after lunch and then it's dinner tonight at 7pm at Yahachi! tra la la, i can't wait :D

i think want eggs for lunch.

I must admit that i'm a frequent toilet user, as i have inherited a weak bladder from my dad. Anyhoo, i was annoyed this morning because
1) the toilet i always use at uni (cos it's quite clean) was quite quite gross! the floor was full of grass, things like that always make me wonder what the hell was going on in there before this morning.

2) i cant stand it when people put the toilet cover down. i always end up either using my foot to lift the cover up or using toilet paper to lift the cover, but still, yuck.

That is all i have to complain about today, toilets.
Apart from that it was a lovely lovely day :D
Our trip to Ikea was successful cos i ended up getting a big coffee mug & a study lamp! We also bought swedish meatballs and since it was early, we went to Westfield Innaloo to look for some more stuff. Ended up getting a thermal mug (2 for $17!), a new and more firm pillow for Yas & some lollies. YUM.

i'm so happy! Although this also means that my attempt at not spending money has failed. But i have to say that some of the purchases mentioned above were gifts from Yas, the others were gifts for him ... and for my own use.

now i have corn stuck in my teeeth, grr. time to floss!
what a good day :)
