hmm.
this has nothing to do with exams, but rather with post-exam celebrations. i guess i will never understand parents who are unlike my own ...
i mean the kind of parents who don't let their children go out and celebrate the end of exams. alrite, so it's clubbing ... but it's not like their kids are gonna do something absolutely stupid. if they don't know their children well enough to know that they are responsible & are just going to spend time with their friends, then why not let them out?
you can't keep them cooped up in the house forever, and going out might just do your kids some good. how else are they going to know what's out there in the world and all that. besides, they're already old enough to know what they should and should not be doing.
i guess sometimes it's down to the kids themselves - if they don't really want to go out, then one can't really force them to. but it doesn't hurt to have a little fun sometimes. just cos you go clubbing doesn't mean you have to get drunk!
i understand that not everyone enjoys clubbing, but it's the other things too. i.e. going out with your friends or just hanging out. the thing that irritates me the most is people who make up excuses at the last minute and/or pike on you, resulting in ruined plans.
..................
so that was my little rant.
got an exam tmr, but i'm feeling surprisingly calm and nonchalant (not sure if that's a good thing or not ... probably not).
ok, off i go.
