a weekend of dancing
just got back from a night out with Yas :)
our outing started at Dome sipping coffees and ended with us going to Ambar - it was a friend of a friend's birthday so we managed to get free entry. i have decided that i quite like the place, it's very underground and it reminds me of that movie Queen of the Damned ... it was more the atmosphere than the music (i.e. very smoky, dark, cool lights). the music was pretty good too :) they played non-r&b which is good for a change.
last night was mum & dad's 25th anniversary celebration!
twas a night of dancing for the older folks and it was cute watching all these couples dancing. hehe. yas hopes to be one of them when he grows older ... shaking his bootay and all. maybe by then he would've mastered the melbourne shuffle, heh heh.
many photos were taken during the course of the night, but i dont actually have them at the mo'.
the Loo household is slowly becoming less & less ... dear lynette has left for Melbourne and soon mum and dad will be going down south with their friends. tra la la la, which leaves just me and lynne. alone.
kind of looking forward to it actually ... especially since it's the last week of holidays! ohhh gosh, we will have to go back to uni soon :( boo, that is so soon. the holidays have just flown by.
anyhoooo, i think it's time for me to go to bed now.
it's 1.15 in the morning but it somehow feels so much earlier. am not feeling as tired as i should be, given i'm currently surviving on 6 hrs of sleep (not to mention having worked 9-6pm today).
SO YES.
my point being, it's time for bed!
goodnight sleepy heads, i will be back again tmr (maybe).
