my feet smell, i can smell them from here ... yuck.

After a spot of (personally delivered) breakfast from good ol' McDonalds,

Took Yas out for a movie & some shopping since i didn't actually get him an entire birthday present (long story ... well, sort of).

Watched The Departed since **lynnie nette loo (heh heh) recommended it - was amusing and also quite exciting. I seemed to one of the only people chuckling at some of the dialogue ... hmmm. Leonardo Dicaprio is a really good actor & unfortunately, i have never been fond of Matt Damon.Not sure why, might have something to do with face? I don't know. In any case, i was quite glad when his gf left him & when he met his demise. Twas a good movie though !

Since it was a 3 o clock movie, there were a few old couples & one or two guys who watched the movie on their own.
The old couples might not have expected such a vulgar & violent movie. Halfway through one of the old ladies walked out, leaving her husband to watch it on his own. Oh and in one of the scenes where Collin & Maddelyn are having a date & eating dessert, i heard an old man say,
"oh that looks lovely!"

Old people are amusing.

What is also amusing, is my dad telling Yas that he reminds him of sushi ... hahahaha.

Alrite must dash, have to wake up semi-early tmr.

chinese oral presentation went well today! considering it was more or less a last minute effort. quite glad about that. i think today will be a good day ... i can feel it.

IT'S SO HOT !
and the worst bit is that the evaporative is not working so it's really hot and stuffy up here. this is when taking off one's clothes would be most beneficial and cooling!
sort of glad that i won't be here for all of summer ... instead, i will be in freezing cold China :)

one last assesment left before the mad studying for exams begins. goshh, i have so much to catch up on it's really not funny.

ended up calling in sick this morning & spent the rest of the day lazing about & eating cold things ... it was great ! finishing the essay was such a relief, no more research essays to write for the rest of the year, woo!
the stuffiness is really starting to get me - i am sneezing nonstop. ahhh !!

today would have been really good weather to swim & laze around by the pool :(

the highlight of my day was coming home to see a parcel on the dining table. my play suit i got from ebay arrived !!!! :D tried it on & it fits just right too. i would put a photo of it up but our internet's too slow & won't let me upload it properly.

i've had the sudden urge to listen & sing to Queen.
just the other day on my way to Yathy's house, there was nothing good on radio so i turned it off and decided to sing all my own songs. when i stopped at a traffic light, i got funny stares from the car next to me ... then i realised that i might have been too into it, hehe.

was rather annoyed when removing my contact lenses because our bathroom sink/counter is full of short-length strands of hair. the only other person that it could belong to is lynne, which really makes me wonder what the hell she gets up to in the bathroom cos there's so much of her fucking hair all over the place.

okae, i think it's time to get back to my essay.
i can feel an all-nighter already ...

i have just realised that my life depends on these few things:
- zantec (so that i can eat a full meal without feeling sick)
- black eyeliner
- facial products
- hair dryer
- MINTS ! for when i actually do feel sick.

it's pretty distressing when i don't have any of these .. lol. ok maybe not so much the zantec, but pretty much everything else.

asian studies research essay due on friday, but i have to get it done by thursday cos i'm working all day friday and can't hand it up. ARGHHH. if all else fails, i suppose i will call in sick.
was reading through the topics for the essay and they're all terrible, and boring. terribly boring! bahh.

really annoyed because all of a sudden i have been rostered on to work and i have horrible shifts:
friday - 0800 to 1800
saturday - 0900 to 1730

at first i thought they were phasing me out because i'm one of the very few casual staff, now it seems they want to drive me away with horrible shifts.

also,
i just can't wait till all the uni madness ends !!!

well, it's been an eventful week - most of it not so happy, but let's not get into that.
