Have been waiting the entire week for today :)
Finally the horrendous week is over & things are starting to look better. Got work at 1pm, today's job is at Priceline Carousel ... someone told me that it's a real pain to do cosmetics cos you have to sort through the discount bin, yay.

Daylight savings has ended & i was the only one in the Loo household who remembered to set my clock back an hour before going to bed last night. Got woken up by some voices (belonging to mum & lynne) at 7am ... ha ha to them for waking up too early, but boo-hoo to me for getting woken up too early.

Been feeling pretty down lately & it's starting to really bug me because i want to get over this constant grumpiness.

Got the shock of my life when i saw this on the windscreen.
Grace: "I think it's on the inside"
Me: "AHH WHAT ??!!" (car swerves a little dangerously towards the curb)

And no, it wasn't on the inside.
Tried using the windscreen wipers to swipe it off but it didn't seem to work.
When we got onto the freeway, it couldn't hold on any more and i don't really know where it disappeared to. Didn't see it when i got home but i was still cautious & didn't walk near the driver's side in case it was around.
Yes yes, it's just a grasshopper but i don't like insects of any kind !!

HUZZAH! I AM JOBLESS NO MORE!

Just got back from the "interview" with Lotons-RGIS (inventorial specialists, oooh fancy...). I say "interview" cos it wasn't really an interview. All i did was an aptitude test to make sure that i could count; filled out some forms for tax & payment purposes; and got a little brief on what the job's about.

After that i got booked in for some jobs next week & that was it! Oh, i also got a t-shirt which fits well & is very soft. Yay, i'm so happy :D No more financial struggles!

Ok going to change out of these interview clothes now then it's off to the city for a spot of lunch.

I don't even remember our actual conversation.

Been in the mood to give my room a little bit of a makeover so this is the first time i wish that i had empty photo frames lying around my room, photo frames that people have given me as i-don't-know-what-else-to-get-you-for-your-birthday-so-here-you-go birthday presents.

Sighh, there is tute work that needs to be done but i really can't bring myself to do it. Feeling too damn lazy to do anything productive & this is bad. 8am lecture tomorrow morning, maybe i should go. Never used to have so much difficulty getting out of bed in the mornings, these days having to drag myself out of bed is such a chore.

In other news, my other box of treasures arrived from Beijing today :D Pleasant start to the day, indeed! Overall it's been a good day, the only bad things that happened today were:
- Went to the newsagent to buy Frankie, but alas, there were no copies at all ! (So i bought Yen instead)
- This asshole in a Ute swore at me in the car park even though it was also his fault.

The only other thing that's bugging is that the damned weather isn't cooling down !! Argh. 34 degrees tomorrow ... why !!

I think i tend to over analyze things & make myself worry too much. Too many 'what ifs' & 'maybes'.

Really can't wait till next year!
Right now i just want to get out of here asap ...

In the toilet today, this guy walked in hurriedly. He headed straight to where i assume the urinals would've been in the male toilet, and it took him about 5 seconds to realise that he was in the wrong toilet before walking out again.

Went to RPM (aka mad cycling class) this morning and now my legs feel wobbly. Quite pleased that even though i can't actually cycle, i can still get the same workout on a stationary bicycle. At least this way there's no risk of me falling off because i've lost my balance, it's great.

I know i whine about the weather a lot, but it's just getting increasingly warmer. This weather is rubbish! Bahh.

Been having this huge craving for Frankie. Wish i could subscribe to it but i don't have enough funds in my bank account right now. They don't even sell the magazine in the uni newsagent anymore, what has the world come to.

My joints are getting sweaty & sticky (and i'm just sitting here).

Today someone from Zest called to make an appointment for a personal training session with me, just as i was reaching for a can of Coke. Then she asked, "Is this a good time to talk?" haha.

Meant to go to the gym with Julie later on but i'm feeling sluggish, perhaps a little too sluggish cos all i want to do is sit down and do something low-activity. I guess this is all the more reason i should exercise, but ... nah, not today. I'll go on Wednesday, i promise!

Tra la la, the weather is driving me nuts. Since it's Autumn it should be getting a little nicer, but it's not :(

Hmm, gonna go lie down for a bit.

China & other stuff

Yes i have been absent for quite a while now because
a) haven't really been in the mood to blog &
b) been busy with lots of A.S.I.A related stuff
Please accept this extremely long entry as my apology, OK??!!!

Ok, so the second week of uni is over and i'm still not feeling it. It's not just me though, i know lots of other people who are finding it hard to 'get into the groove' (as a certain someone would say. 哈哈, 你应该知道你是谁) - gotta love those English-learning channels on Chinese television.

Since the last time i blogged, 2/5 of the Loo family have left for Singapore. Sister dear will be there for a few months but mother dear will be back soon. The house feels emptier, although as usual Lynne makes up for most of the noise.

We've been having catered food 3 times a week and it's not too bad, my only complaint is that i've been burping burps of a special flavour: catered-food. FYI, this is not very tasty.
